  1. Congratulations to Seth. He is great at both sides of the ball. Look forward to seeing him play at Willmington!
  2. Im going to go with Carroll. Gallatin gets hit hard with graduation as they lose Perkins and Edmondson, just to name two. Walton also lsoes their big man and a shooter in Jones. Carroll will be young again next year but some have recieved quality varsity time and I think that they will be ready. Can't wait for the season to start, should be a good one!

  4. I had a chacne to see him play this year and I wasnt very impressed. I think that is a little overrated right now. He has the potential to be good, but the game I saw he did not really show me much. Good Luck to Jacob on the upcoming seasons.

  7. The games that I have witnessed I have noticed that Ballinger did have help from other players but chose not to use them at times. Whitney is a tremendous player and had a great year, but I do think that she needs to critique some things to get ready for WKU. College is a whole different level and speed of game. As for nobody hitting a shot, you are 100% correct. I have never seen the Lady Panthers shoot as poorly as they did. One thing that I did see that I was proud of was that the girls did not stop shooting. Some would miss the first two or three shots and gave up, but Carroll did not. Good season Lady Panthers and best of luck in the coming years. Special best of luck to Whitney Ballinger and Jacquelyn Lowe in the future! :thumb:

  9. I look for Carroll to win by 5. It will be tough for the Lady Panthers because they have their hands full with Jones. She is a very good player on both sides of the ball. Should be an interesting game and I am definitely looking forward to it.
  10. Congrats to all the Lady Panthers, but a special congrats to seniors Whitney Ballinger and Jaquelyn Lowe. They have had a tremendous four years at Carroll and I hope them the best in the future. This game was a great way to send the two seniors out at their last home game. Once again, congrats to the Lady Panthers and good luck in the districts.
  11. Last summer they did attend the Georgetown team camp. I believe that is the same one the girls attend also.
  12. Keith Welch will definitely help out the Panthers. I hear that he can hit a ball a mile if he wanted. Look forward to seeing him play this coming season.
  13. Man, I was hoping to see all three Lady Panther teams come away with a district title, but Congrats to the Lady Rebels. I cannot wait to see these girls play in the coming years, especially since they will get better.
  14. Well the hard thing about that NoOffSeason is that Carroll is a small school. Most athletes play multiple sports and in the summer baseball is ending and football is starting. I used to be one of those kids to just play one sport and never understood why some could not develop their game while in another sport. Now as a father of a child who plays multiple sports I see how difficult it can really be. Its hard to focus on one sport and try and develop another during that season. However, I do hope to see Carroll getting alot of summer ball games and getting ready for the season to come after this season is over.
  15. Well the first thing that must be said is, Congrats to the Raiders. They showed real heart on the court after being down 14-2 at the start of the first quarter. I was amazed by the pride that the Trimble kids showed after being down, but they fought back. Curtis really stepped up for the Raiders making two threes in the stretch. He definitely made them under pressure. I hate to see people putting kids down, especially as young as the "young talent" is at Carroll. These boys are sophomores and freshmen and they go out and play just like the seniors do and give it all they got. I just hope that Carroll does have a better year next year and good luck to them as it gets down to the district tournament. Also, good luck to the Raiders, I will be cheering for you in the district tournament. True Blue, I think that deserves a little but of shasta!
  16. I heard the same thing. I have not got a chance to talk to him so I am not sure on the reasoning. I hope it is just a rumor, he is a tremendous player.
  17. If that is all you are worried about, why do you reply to the comments posted? People make mistakes and spelling is not a big issue here. Now back to the freshman district tournament. Carroll did very well and Yager really stepped up for the Panthers. He hit all of the technical foul shots and I believe he had 15 against Gallatin. He will be a good asset for the Panthers.
  18. Yes, Allen was a very good asset for the Panthers, as well as Blankenship and Bickers at shortstop. If I recall right, Allen had the highest batting average on the team as a freshman. He is a very tough kid. I hear Carroll got a new coach, I am anxious to meet him and hope that he builds the program to greatness. Good luck in the upcoming season!
  19. Can we please stick to the topic? Does spelling really count here, we are discussing the freshman tournament.
  20. Great job by the Panthers. Sticks has it right in saying the future LOOKS good for Carroll. Lets hope that they hold this up, but at the same time varsity level is alot different than freshman but some of the players are getting valuble time this year. As for this tournament, it was WILD! Thats the most technical fouls I have seen in awhile. Seems to me like it carried over from the varsity game. I hope Gallatin can re-group and be the classy team they have been before this week. Once again Congrats to Carroll on teh tournament win.
  21. North Bullit at Carroll Co Cancelled Rescheduled for 2/13
  22. Take a few mistakes away and Gallatin would be playing University Heights right now. But all in all, it was a good game by the Wildcats and congrats on making it this far. Look forward to seeing what Gallatin will have come district and region tournament time.
