What does Carroll County need to do to improve in 2007? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

Carroll County is in dire need of a coaching change. Coach Barry is a great guy and has been there forever, both as an assistant and head coach but IMO has lost the respect of his players. Discipline is a huge problem and needs to be addressed, whomever the coach is, before anything else. They have enough talent returning this season to have a decent team.

The have some solid numbers. I think area need to improve the most is on the offensive side of the football. Missing the skilled kids they had the last couple of years.

IMO they need to open up playbook on O, way to conservitive.

They have a strong runningback returning in Daniel Rose, but the loss of some key seniors may hirt the Panthers. If the coach builds his offense right with the tools he has, he could have a decent team at Carroll.

I agree that Daniel Rose will continue to be an asset to the Panthers.

But you must not forget about ricketts and welch. With Welch coming back look for them to change it up a bit.......:sssh:

They are both having great out of season work outs. Welch kid has put on 12 - 15 lbs. and all weight numbers up. We will see come this season just glad the rivalry is back and competitive.

I hope that they do well. Is Welch still a cheerleader? He seemed pretty good at the tumbling/stunting part of that. Most male college cheerleaders are former football players or wrestlers.

Yes, he is still cheering. He is finishing that up and playing baseball this year. He also took basketball season off to work on conditioning for football. He has really been hitting he weight room hard in the off season. I think it will payoff.
