I wasnt saying that Trimble is an awful team and i would never want to take accomplishments away from the kids, especially after they have earned it. I am just saying juggernaut is such a powerful word for Trimble.

Don't say Trimble is a juggernaut until after they play Danville and Frankfort. That is when we find out if Trimble really is a juggernaut.

If you are referring to HC as Henry Co. they are not in the Class "A" Tourney

Mercer...simple as that with weapons like Corey Jackson and Ford, they are solid. The only team I see putting up a game against them is Russell.

I would have to go with Corey Jackson from Mercer County. He is playing tremendous football for Mercer and could help carry them to the Sate Championship.

I will agree with Walton. They have the most retuning and have some leadership.

Carroll has there own talent. Will we will find out who is the better team come this season.

Say what you want about Carroll soph class im over it. Wait till season comes this year, the better team will come out on top.

Right the Coach from Carrol should not. Thats why I said the soph class will show what it can really do at the Varisty level, where it really counts. I will agree Carroll will meet Gallatin 4 times, and all 4 games should be good games.

The Frosh District was used to bring up a point about the soph vs. soph. Maddux and Carlton also got playing time in varsity like I said before where as Carroll did not play their soph due to the upperclassmen on the Varisty team. I do not find the soph class too cocky, they are just confident after the numbers they put up last year against Gallatin soph. And you are right it all comes down to Varisty where Carroll soph should get some more PT and show what they really can do at the Varisty level.

No I dont play for the defending champions but once again you say Gallatin soph have more talent than Carroll, and bringing the freshman season and district into the mix makes my point that Carroll has the better soph, obviously or Gallatin would have won, which they did not. The only 2 that actually played varsity was Carlton and Maddux anyways, the reason for Carroll not playing any of theirs was because Carroll had seniors where as Gallatin had 1. We will find out this season who the better team is.

I didnt say there was. I mentioned Freshman district to make a point that Carroll had better soph. I was talking about varsity as I thought Wildcat was.

You said that Gallatin soph more class this year was much better and talented than Carroll. That Freshman Championship is proof that they are not or GC would have won it, right? So that shows that Carroll obviously has the better soph class.

Carroll beat Gallatins Freshmen last year every game and must I say again the Freshman District Champions...Carroll. Just because Carrolls soph didnt get much time on varsity doesnt mean that they are awful. I believe you are dreaming when you say that Carlton and Maddux would start at Carroll. That is ridiculous. I believe you 2 have Carlton and Maddux way overrated. They are not that good. I also agree with EKUFAN that Gallatin is the team to beat though because they are defending champions as every team that won championshipd last year will be. I am just saying what EKUFAN is saying, people have Carroll underrated. Look for them to be the suprise team come basketball season.

I will agree Spencer is one of the best in the region I have seen. He shoots very well and also knows how to pass and can crash the boards.

I disagree. Maddux and Carlton might have played varsity but like said before Carroll had many upperclassmen on the Varsity roster. I believe Carrolls soph talent is much better than Gallatin. Carroll is 7-8 deep in soph class and in freshman districts last year and in regular season Carroll put a beating on the Wildcats every game. Carroll ended up being Freshmen district champions and Maddux and Carlton both played and both were shut down. I disagree completely with the soph from Gallatin being much better than Carrolls

They also gain it back with the players they have stepping up. Many on the team can shoot very well and crash the boards hard and can passing has improved tremendously. I just believe the game between Carroll and Gallatin will be very good games this year.

In Georgetown Carroll came away as the team camp champions after playing really tough, good teams. The sophomores are not the only ones that can play, upcoming seniors Proctor, Riley, Roberts, and Cheatum are all very reliable in the game and have varsity experience. With these players as well as the sophomore class I refered to I believe it will be tough for Gallatin to just walk away with a victory in Districts.

I know Carroll garduated many but many have stepped up, including many out of their heavily armed sophomore class (including guards Cable, Allen, and forward Hendrick to name a few) this year which got alot of time in summer ball and did very well. Welch and Roberts will both step up once again and Carroll has added some size and will be quick.
