It is a simple question who is going to take it, or should I say who will finish runner-up. Because I think we all know that SK will take the title with the talent they have this year. Now in my opinion it will be Walton they have the most returning players this year and are very deep with nine seniors on the roster. What do you think?

I will agree with Walton. They have the most retuning and have some leadership.

I guess Walton but does this even matter? SK wont come close to being touched in this district and whoever finishes 2nd wont do anything in the regional.

I would have to agree with everbody on this one, but to tell the truth I would love to see an upset. And you all know you would to. But I just don't see it happening not this year.

SK will not even have a district game where the starters are needed really in the 2nd half... #2 will probably be Walton

Ok I am going to have to disagree with you on that one, I will almost guarntee that Walton gives them a game atleast one of the times they play. SK did not blow walton out last year and they are a better team this year. And I hope that the SK team has the same attuide that you have then I will get to see that upset I want so badly.

Sk beat Walton 74-53 the first game and 70-47 the second game and that was with their starters not playing in the 4th quarter. What exactly do you consider a blowout?

Right and if you were at those games you know they were closer then the score says. The game at simon last year Walton was within eight I belive when they just ran out of time and had to start fouling and then got rushed and started to make stupid turnovers. Plus that was last years team with only two guys with any varsity time at all. New season different team look for the games to be alot closer.

I was at the second game at Walton when they beat them 70-47 and that game was never close. The starters were out by the fourth quarter and on top of that Hester had one of his worst games all year. Walton might be a better team this year but they wont come close to the Pioneers. You dont think that the SK players have improved since last year?

I do think they have improved but I also think there is alot of questions with the team such as the health of blevins and hurd this year. I watched hester play over the summer and he is getting better. The game at Walton was not close Walton was flat footed and lazy that game no argument from me on that game. I just belive that as a whole this Walton team has a chance to surprise some people, and most of all SK because they are overlooking the whole district which works out good for the other teams.

Trust me, I am a graduate from SK and would still love to see an upset, it would be good for the district as a whole... However, I know both teams and I agree Walton is a lot better this year than last, but it does not matter. No offense to anybody from Walton but SK will blow them out, this isn't the year for an upset like that, maybe next year.

I havent heard anything lately about Hurd. I know he had knee surgery over the summer but havent heard how he was recovering? Is he going to be ready for the start of the season? And Hester hasnt got himself hurt over the summer did he? I know he has had a problem with his wrist the past couple of years. Anyone have any details on this?

My brother played summer ball with hester and they still hang out and he has not told me about any injury, so he should be fine.
