Has anyone seen all the teams play enough to be able to predict? Right now Carroll looks good but I have not seen Walton or Trimble play since early in the season.

 

Owen County can be streaky and may have a shot of making the final.

Carroll should win both games by double digits. Even if the games get tight down the stretch, Ballinger can score any time she wants.

Are the brackets out for the State All A tournament. I can not find them on the Touchstone website and I wondered if they were already lined up by region. Can anyone give me a link?

I would like to agree but the schedule Carroll has played does not lead me wnought to believe two or three games in the state tourney. The only team Ive seen them play would be Shelby in which they played very well, but I hope they do well in the tourney. With that being said, Carroll cannot go in the class a thinking they have it won because tournament time is when the upsets happen. Carroll better take one game at a time. It would be nice to see the Panthers represent the Region this year and give Ballinger and Girdy some exposure. They are really a fun team to watch.

W-V advances to play Carroll Co on Friday. The Lady Raiders just could not get focused early. THey had a 23 pt 4th quarter, but it was too little, too late.

 

#15 for Walton had 6 threes. I imagine Girdy will have her hands full, but from what I have seen she can certainly step up to the challenge. Ballinger will have a big night, but Girdy will make the difference.

I thought the adjustments Trimble made at the half really stopped #15 from scoring in the second half. It was just too much of a deficit to come back from. The Walton group said that this was the first time Walton had played like that all year.

 

I really feel for Jennings, she is such a quality player but she just can not seem to move well on her knee. Carroll has one like that also and it is a terrible thing to happen in their Senior season.

As someone who has also had ACL surgery, I understand where they are coming from. Some people get an emotional hang-up, in addition to any actual physical issues, that prevents them from overcoming the injury/surgery.

Has this injury prevented any Schools from looking at her for a scholarship. I remember her when she was healthy and she was a great player.

 

Carroll's ACL injury took out one of our best scorer's she plays quality limited minutes but starts to limp after a few runs down the floor and has a really hard time bending in a scramble for the ball.

Honestly, I am not sure, but I imagine that it would hurt her chances.
