Danville at Frankfort

Featured Replies

Sounds like the Ads put in alot of hard work in the last two weeks. Just hope the Panthers can stay on the field with them.

I think the Ads will come ready to play this game and make a better showing but will still fall a little short...Frankfort 21 Danville 14

Danville will make proper adjustments and will handle the adversity they didn't last time. They will come ready to play and will come away a win.

I'm not saying a score but will later.

Based on the results of the last meeting, I'll still give the edge to Frankfort. However, I believe this game will be much more competitive. Hopefully, the rickety visitors side bleachers will hold up under the weight of all the Ad fans.:D

Are they still at the same place they were 26 years ago? I remember the night we played them and I stood up next to a fence knee deep in mud. Hopefully, they have improved on their football field situation in this length of time.

The field is actually pretty nice. The visitor stands are a risky undertaking.:D

I pray that the Admirals are ready to play a full game this time, not quit when the scoreboard has them behind; because I believe that they will probably have to play from behind some in this game. This game is won or lost in the trenches, point blank....if the Ads stop/slow down significantly either Fields or Robinson they will win, if they don't they will lose...

No score from me at all this week; just can't do it :)

Ads: 42

FHS: 14

Ads come ready to play and get revenge against Frankfort. They are out to prove that Frankfort should have never won the first meeting. I just hope the officiating is alot more fair in this game. I attended last nights game at Frankfort and was very suprised about how many missed calls were made and how the game was favored. Hopefully this game will be called fair for the sake of both teams. Good luck to both Danville and Frankfort.

Rickety bleachers, too much mud, unfair officiating.....WOW is this the same Danville team that's won 50 state titles. I watched the last game a couple of times on local cable and I have to agree that Danville looked very average. The first game wasn't as close as the final score and last time I checked EJ Fields still plays for Frankfort. I like the Panthers to win going away. Of course first time I picked Danville to win by 30.

Vistor bleacher are still shakey. They are bringing in more bleachers this week. That side of the field is still muddy. Coaches are still working on drying the side line.

As a Frankfort resident,I can vouch for the bleachers.I can tell you the HOME bleachers at my beloved FCHS are rickety.WHHS has nice bleachers,

but I don't like the all fans on the same side of the field.Unfortunately, our

programs here in F'fort don't have the support of local fans or merchants on

the level of towns like Danville and most big time programs like Lexcath.

That being said,I think we DO have coaches that are rapidly approaching

elite status among the state.

I know this is a thread about D Ville and Frankfort but I disagree with this statement. Local businesses and individuals are very good about supporting their local athletic teams in Frankfort, the fact of the matter is you can't expect private business and individuals to pay for big ticket items like bleachers or lights for baseball or football fields. This is a school board undertaking and if the bleachers at FHS are that bad it could become a liability issue.
