Here's hoping that the kid returns to good health sooner than later. This injury to the qb could slow the maturation of the offense. I could see this game going close until the second half before JC begins to pull away. But I still think this game will be relatively close, within a couple of touchdowns.

How many turnovers did Belfry have?

The forecast just on calls for the rain to start letting up late this evening and the chance is reduced for tomorrow.

I think after this past weeks performance they are really down. But seriously, after an astonishing run from years past, most expect perfection. But Henry Clay truly is no slouch and this is just the beginning to a full season with plenty of time to right their ship towards a successful season.

I do find it hard to believe that there are posters on this thread that are questioning the head coach after only two games into his coaching regime.:confused:

If Russell doesn't get complacent from last years results they have a good chance at a very successful season but several teams on their schedule has a chance at knocking of the Red Devils, look at Boyd Co. from last year. However, I do believe if Ashland plays better than last week, then they have a decent chance of winning this game.

This game definitely generating alot of talk from that part of the state. Russell is going to be hard to beat this year, but if anyone on their schedule could it would be Ashland. They played very well last week and hope to continue it this week. The Red Devils are going to find the path to the state championship this year to be much tougher from all comers.

Henry Clay could win this on by 2 touchdowns if the ball bounces their way.

Johnson Central could be the real deal.

Belfry will win this game , in a BIG way.
