FBALL Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 This is official...Hope it doesn't backfire.... I hope it does. Pathetic, but typical.
Morehead State Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 I can see that it probably would backfire I'd say the teams aren't happy at all after getting up for a game like this and then being let down. If Ashland doesnt like playing in the mud then let them get some turf or quit worrying about thier so called"holy grail" and play some football.. I think it is ridiculous that they would do this.
Watusi Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 What will the location and time for the game now be?

Maybe all of the rain will wash some of the crud off of that old dump.
GOREDDEVILS Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 What will the location and time for the game now be? 7:30 pm Saturday at Putnam
Morehead State Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 Maybe all of the rain will wash some of the crud off of that old dump. All this rain might just might make those concrete stands.....as clean as they were in 1936!
goherd96 Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 What will the location and time for the game now be? Same location, same kickoff time...why was this necessary??? More rain forecasted for tomorrow so what difference does it make?
Morehead State Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 Those Tomcats need an extra day of practice.. thats what it is!
devil58 Posted September 1, 2006 Author Posted September 1, 2006 Maybe the infamous "mud cleats" won't be delivered until tomorrow!!! :sssh:
goherd96 Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 Maybe the infamous "mud cleats" won't be delivered until tomorrow!!! :sssh: That must be it...Dirk must not have gotten his supply in on time. Maybe the truck was held up by flood waters...
Morehead State Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 Is it really that bad in the Ashland area???, by the looks of the radar it is about to stop?
TCatfan Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 Was this a decision made by Ashland or was this an agreement between the two schools?
FBALL Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 Is it really that bad in the Ashland area???, by the looks of the radar it is about to stop? There has been a steady rain since yesterday afternoon. Make no mistake, it is very wet. But this is football and I have seen games played in worse conditions than this.
