Who two teams have the best shot goin to the carpet in 2007?

I think Breathitt has a good shot at being the champ. With the outstanding freshman class that they have, i see them going far! Hollan,Smith,and Combs are great players. Look out for them.

Who will win the 14th and why?

Its hard to a good team twice but three times is unheard of. I think pcc will play close with Hazard but in the end the dogs will be to much. Hazard by atleast 8

A good win for the young bobcats. Smith didnt have a huge game i hear but thats when you learn to lean on someone else on the team like Hays. Breathitt will be there in the end trust me. With both games with hazard going down to the wire, this team could very well be unbeaten.

A good win for Jackson City. But i dont think that they have any shot at the district or region. Breathitt already ran them out of the gym when they played.

Breathitt has one of the best freshman classes in the state this year. Channing Fugate, Nick Noble, Dakota Ritchie just to name a few. Fugate and Noble play alot of minutes at the varsity with Noble starting and Fugate coming in off the bench. Both are huge contributiors for the bobcats. And both have a great future infront of them. They also are great kids. Well mannered and excilent students.

Channing plays with my younger brother on the football team and they are pretty good friend. My brother asked channing about all this publicity that he is getting now and channing answer with an who care. this kid is very down to earth about everything. I have had a few conversations with him and he seems very well mannered. But on the football feild and the basketball court he is a monster. He and Nick Noble (both freshman) will take breathitt far in the year to come in both sports.

Anyone have some from Breathitt?

Breathitt next year will returning alot of starters. They lost 4 seniors this year to graduation. They have alot of talent on both sides of the ball. Rusty Herald, Colby Fugate, and Ryan Allen should have HUGE years this year for the bobcats. On defense breathitt is goin to be loaded. Chris Jackson, Ben Allex are going to be two of the best linebackers in the class this year. Jade Haddix and Channing are playing the saftey's. The cornerback position is a question mark for me, last year they played alex strong and rusty herald but im not sure that they will be playing corner this year. This team is a strong team have have the core players coming back. Good Luck bobcats next year and get us another championship!

Anyone have breathitt's starting 5?

Colby Fugate, Chris Jackson, Channing Fugate, Nick Noble, Ben Allex, and Jade Haddix, Chris Spicer, Huston Noble, Scott Baley, Ryan Allen, Wes Epperson from Breathitt County are going to have huge impacts for the bobcats next year. These guys are as hungry of guys i have ever scene. These player i beleive will carry the team on their back. Colby, Chirs, Wes are seniors. Ryan, Scott, Huston, Chris S. are Juniors. Channing, Ben, and Jade are goin to be sophmores. These players names are going to be thrown around for alot next year.:thumb:

How do you think the bobcats will fair in 3A? And does anyone know who they will be playing? It would be much appreciated if anyone had any info, Im tryin to plan my work schedule around it.:thumb:

Breathitt should have no problume winning the district this year. Wolfe is rebuilding, Jackson City has a FEW good players but should be much of a factor. Riverside has some big kids but it will be the same as it has been for years with them.

Becham Herald in my opinion is one of the best running backs in the state. Without him the Breathitt Bobcats wouldnt have won 5 games. He was Mr. Everything to them. He was amazing to watch in the few times that i got to watch this season. He not only ran the ball for the bobcats but he also was a major player on a young but tough defense! He should get a few votes.

I think that Middlesboro has a shot at Belfry. Middlesboro has alot of speep with their running backs, quaterback, and receivers. Belfry in my opioion hasnt really lived up to what they could do this year. I mean they let sheldon clark come back and beat them. If they can play good defense and play a ball control offense and limit the amount of touches that the middlesboro offense has, then Belfry will win.

Mike Holcomb has to rank up there pretty fair on peoples list. With a small school and what talent he has had at his disposial he has managed over 200 wins and 3 state championships with three different quarterbacks. That to me is a feat in itself.

I agree that the first game was a defensive game, but I think this game will be more of the same. I dont see either team breaking it open. I think it will be as close of game as it was when Breathitt went to Leslie. Breathitt-28 Leslie-13

For the second time in this years season The Breathitt County Bobcats will be facing The Leslie County Eagles in the playoffs. This will happen November the 3RD at Mike Hocomb Feild. What is your projected score and who will come out ontop this time?

If Breathitt can get past Leslie in the first round of playoffs, then the young bobcats will have a huge game at Middlesboro. Middlesboro won in the first meeting at Breathitt, but the young bobcats became stail and couldnt stop the Jackets offense. I beleive that if these two would happen to cross paths agian than the bobcats will have revenge on their mind.

I see Breathitt bouncing back from a lose to Middlesboro pretty easily. Breathitt should have no problume with Knott. Breathitt in a blow out!

I see this game going down to the wire. Breathitt seemed to fade away in the second half and their defence couldnt stop Middlesboro to many times. But when they did it seemed that Breathitt could score at will on Middlesboro's Defence. The Howard kid from leslie is a good running back, he and Beckam Herald are some of the best in the mountains. I agree with you, everyone is already putting Middlesboro up aginst belfry or Sheldon Clark, but people should also know that Breathitt has to play them agian, and some people doesnt know that Breathitt was up 14 points within the first 5 minutes. Its a good win for the Jackets dont get me wrong but like you said Depend On Me people should count their chickens before they hatch.
