I didn't hear his name called all night long ,Is he hurt and if so how bad is he injured???

 

That was/will be a HUGE lose for the Jackets not only on offesne but on defense.

 

 

And why did Coach Roark squib kick the football all night long on kickoffs?? He put a TON of pressure on our defense because Breathitt County started on offense every time from at least the 50 yrd line.

 

Great game for Hunter Adams, Casey Earls ,Trevor Hoskins and Brennan Bowling as i think he scored 3 rushing TD's tonight in replace of C.G. Ford and everyone on offense as Middlesboro over 550 total yards.

 

 

Congrats Jackets and Good Luck next week against Leslie County.

42 points in a win over Corbin and 42 points in a win over Breathitt. I wonder what happens when they run into someone who is giving up less than the 20 points a game Breathitt allows and the 21 points a game Corbin gives up?

Come regional finals a trackmeet like this WILL not work. This is the second time that M-boro has relied on a shootout to prevail.... without defense the Jackets will get beat by Belfry or SC.

Believe it or not but our defense is much better than what we showed last night.

 

Because Middlesboro squib kicked the football Breathitt County only had to drive half the length of the football field for most of the game.

 

After half‧time we made some adjustments and held Breathitt County to only 7 points and I'd guess under 150 yards of total offense.

This is a good win for MBoro...I don't think Breathitt is quite on the level of Russell, SClark or Belfry, but, still a solid team, much like Corbin...I agree, the Jackets defense needs to get better and quick, but, there offense is good enough to keep them in the game with anyone in 2a...

Defense wins championships, remember that....but, with that said, what a game!!! Middlesboro has an excellent football team, there is no question. Breathitt Co. must be back from those past few dismal years. Would have loved to have seen this one!!

Jackets find some better defense and they could be swarmin on the carpet......better do it this season though...where is old Floyd Branum when you need him....lol

Really greaat game.

 

The young Bobcats kept pace with the experienced yellowjackets through most of the game, although I'd rather have seen a better defensive effort on their part.

 

Middlesboro was the better team and deserved to win:thumb:

I don't understand how everyone is already writing M-boro in the regional championship. They haven't made it yet. They will most likely have to play Breathitt again, and I'm not so sure that the outcome will be the same. Just don't count your chickens before they hatch.
