Good game the tigers had a ten point lead in the fourth but sloppy play let the rebels back into it. Davidson finished with 27 points and kilburn had a double double with 21 points and 11 boards. Watkins had 13 and dished out 8 assists good defense by both teams in the closing minutes. I think Jackson will get better as the season proggreses.

Good win but I still think they need a coach look he has a about got the same record as he did at breathitt all he needs is one more win.

Not sure what your trying to say but coach Hall is good .........

He can't coach he as got some real good players and can't do any thing with them. He done the same thing when he was at breathitt. Jackson comes out in the first quarter on fire and then it looks like they give up. I am not saying they did against the 4 teams they beat but against the good teams that they have played. Last year and the year before Jackson had good coachs and for some old reason they left. Dont get me wrong he is a real good guy But he needs to stick with teaching and not coaching.

Sounds like you have it out for Coach Hall. I feel if Breathitt would've given him one more year he would be having the same success as Banks is enjoying down the mountain. Anyway, Congrats the tigers and Coach Hall I believe it was only AC's 4 loss

I think you can look at BCHS record this year and attribute part of that to last years experience. I have watched games from 3 different regions this year, JC has a couple of decent players, but by no means the talent they had last year. I know several folks that would love to see Coach Hall replant his roots.

Coach of the year in the 14th his first year after taking the Bobcats to the regional final and losing to a talented Perry Central team by 1 point, I think. To me, the difference in Breathitt this year, aside from the years experience, is that Smith is playing with more zeal and they have some very talented freshmen players who have made an inpact. Breathitt will have a good year in a region that is rebuilding itself but I don't see them going to Rupp. I think a weak schedule will come back and bite them. Coach Hall would have fared about the same this year at Breathitt as the current coach and as for his tenure at Jackson City so far? They lost their best players to graduation and just for the record, if the region hadn't been so down last year Jackson City would have not had the success they enjoyed.

He took the job at Jackson City after their two leading scorers from last years regional runner up team graduated. He has been in almost everygame this year and has a solid group of young kids coming up in his program. His largest problem is that right now he doesnt have a whole lot of depth. Give him a couple years and you will see how good a coach he his.

No offense to Jackson City because I was at the AC/JC game the other night and the folks there were GREAT, but Brian is in coaching purgatory right now - no locker rooms, no coaching office, 65 boys in the school and he fields good numbers for JV and Varsity. He's doing the best he can with the hand he's been dealt with and I wouldn't turn my back on this team as an opposing coach. Davidson is the real deal - great scorer and passer. The first 5 know where they are suppose to be on the floor and work well, but like Augger noted, they don't have much depth.
