what about Chris Lofton?

I was very surprised to see BR be so aggressive, sometimes single handly taking on all 5 of clarks players on his way to the basket. Anyone who has watched MC basketball a lot knows how special of a player Brandon can be he really was the spark which got things going for the indians. He was the only player taking high percentage shots early in the ball game. His play along with Azery Crisp's play is what really pushed the indians the entire night. Congratulations guys!

i will take MC by 10. I'm looking for Brandon Rash to have a monster game. Also look for Nick Hendrix to hit some shots and make some things happen. If things start off slow look for Josh Clark to get the scoreing started, he may be there most consistant player. this one should be a fun game.

Coach norman was a great man. I had the pleasure of playing under him for a season. Not only was he a great coach but he was an amazing person. Coach you will be missed.

Is this the same East/West game that was held at Montgomery County last year? or is this a new East/West game?

the d-line will be hit hard. loosing both of the BIG DT'S will be huge #73 and #55, both were very big and good. also the defensive end #42 is gone i believe he was their main pass rusher and also played his position very well. i think next year they will go as far as duckworth can take them...

Montgomery Co. and Woodford both run a spread offense, both teams had a good QB that could run which is really what made everything work.

i also checked my local paper and am wanting to know if anyone knows 5A region 6 team.

I know from Montgomery County it will be: Kaleb Curtis qb/lb 5'10 190 Zach Stroub S/WR 6'3 200 "BIG" Joe Stanfield 6'3 350 DT I have also heard that from Clark Co. that center Justin Perry and DT Bubby Fox will be playing in it.

Kaleb hurt his shoulder during practice, and if he hurts it again it would almost end his football career. at least thats wat i heard, he has a good football career ahead of him. his body just needs a break.

it was his big toe i don't remember which foot though. Cody is a tough kid and will battle through this injury. another kid to watch is Brandon Rash, guard from Montgomery County. He is about 6'4 with real long arms. He can do it on both ends of the floor, he is a great passer and ball handler. On defense he can flat shut opposing players down, as a sophomore he guarded both Preston Knoles and Darius Miller which he did a good job aganist both of them. I can't wait to see how he plays the rest of the year!

What i don't understand is that there wasn't just one flag there were three flags thrown on the play in the same exact area. All of that and they waved them all off. You would think if 3 refs. saw something that there would be some type of penalty for illegal touching. There were actually a lot of missed/bad calls this game on the onside kick for MC the ref closest to the sideline that laid his marker down about 2 inches past the required 10 yard zone an onside must go but the head ref. i believe he was in the middle of the field with a bad angle called it short. That is just my thought/opinion

I would have to say #4 seed Montgomery County over #1 seed Woodford at Woodford. I don't think anyone picked MC to win.

i think this one came down to special teams and mc won that. there kicker was 3/4 with missing a 41 yarder just right and they partically blocked two punts which really helped with field position. Also the mc defense was great, they flew around the ball and made tackles.

Yes they have the same quaterback Kaleb Curtis who has put up some awesome stats in his 1st to games both rushing and passing.

This should be a very good game. I went to the Tates Creek vs. Woodford and Tates Creak didn't look bad they just had lots of penalty's. Montgomery County is going to have to stop #7 and get pressure on there qb #2. Both players looked very good and can win games for woodford if it comes down to a close game. But im going to take MC with there QB Kaleb Curtis and the good receiver play they have gotten from lots of players. Look for #7 Jamil Owens to come out and have a good game, he had an awesome season last year and now is on a very slow start with 1 catch in 2 games. MC-21 WC-20
