I have heard the term racist and conservative both used interchangably by liberal talking heads, just off the top of my head.:confused:

I think their governor is calling out the fact that our President made light of the action that their state is trying to take to fix the problem by using it as a punch line in a speech, especially when illegal immigration should be a problem to be fixed at the Federal level. Quite simply, the statement simply told the President to quit making jokes and start doing his job. It seems very understandable to me.

Not just Mr. Roller, but the fastest defensive front in the state last year IMO. I think Mr. Simpson, due to a bad wheel, would have had a tough time finishing the game against Highland's defense last season.

The funniest part of his comments are that between all the games ever played between these two schools, I know SK hasn't won 25%. They have never beaten Ryle two years in a row.:lol:

Your comparing people's careers to playing a sport. Also, most of the people, not all, in the field that your talking about, have learned those lessons at some point in their lives to even want to be a teacher and a coach. As bad as the pay vs. schooling in these areas are, it is easy to see why people would want to work in a more competative district. Especially with some districts reducing pay due to budget cuts. However, how does adults being self-serving justify teaching kids to be self-serving? It is a very slipery slope when you justify teaching children self-serving behavior through means that have traditionally been meant to teach the opposite. We could debate all day why kids transfer, but imo, most do it to have a better chance at winning, not at participating. How many athletic transfers could you name through your experience that weren't already participating before they transfered?

I agree with the positives that participation bring. However, I think allowing a kid to shop himself around teaches the opposite of what football is meant to teach. Such things as accountability to an organization, self sacrifice, team over me, are lost if kids are allowed to transfer every time they don't get their way IMO. I think that shouldn't be forgotten when we talk about the transfer rule. This child may learn a very important life lesson through this ineligability. It is not one that he wants to learn I am sure, but one that may serve him in his future.

I would think it would cause some title 9 issues to add another boy's sport.

Curious, during your playing tenure, how many times did you beat Ryle? I can only remember two wins vs. the Raiders since Jeff took over as head coach. Correct me if I am wrong, but there seems to be a lot of built up hate. BTW, posters like you make your opposition work harder every day.

I would say you are right. However, I purchased an M1A SOCOM this past year for 1650, which is still pretty nice, even though it is semi-auto.

I understand where you are coming from, but I simply have a problem with someone on the doll being allowed to vote for leadership that will keep them there. I feel like it is enabling. Obviously, it would never change, but I feel like certain decisions should make you lose the opportunity to vote.
