Towles is nowhere near as accurate, not near as heavy, not near as good at avoiding pressure, not near as tough to bring down. Jared couldn't watch himself play, and he is no doubt wanting to talk up his player. To compare the two is ludicrous. I am aware he is as tall, but the weight is uncomparable. As for strength both in the arm and in the body, come on. Are you serious? I am not saying that Towles isn't good, but you are trying to compare him to one of the best that ever played the position at the high school level in this state. He isn't there yet.

They both played QB at Highlands. End of simularities. Towels doesn't have the strength, size, mobility, or accuracy of the Lefty.

I don't have one. Other states, such as Ohio and Indy, don't follow the unwritten rule of a new school being built every time a population gets so high. This leads to their classes being played under much more even competition between privates, publics, and schools with open enrollment. Over all, T and X have 6a enrollment. The only problem is that there aren't many other schools in this state that have 6a enrollment.

I realized that as soon as I posted it. However, the same applies to A. The schools with those number disadvantages are normally not competative at the state level. You can alsot look at real numbers. Who has a greater advantage, a school with 200 boys over a school with 100, or a school with 1400 over a school with 700?

I don't see where this agrgument holds water in the last few years. There have been schools from other areas of the state beat 6A teams in Jefferson county that are not named T or X in this time period. Frankly, I don't see the Manual and Ballard argument at all, and unless Male has several D1 players, they are usually nowhere close to X or T either.

Here is a simple fact. 6A is the only class where there are schools that double the male enrollment of other schools competing in the same class. You can debate whose fault this is or why it occurs, but it is a fact.

There is a population density problem in Boone Co. Therefore, you must attend the high school in the area for which you live. There are no tuition students and no open enrollment. The ONLY way to attend a high school in the Boone district is to live in that school's area.

SK picking the score with all three teams is as likely as you going to the wizard and finding what you lack the most as it applies to high school football knowledge.

Are you talking offense? What is his speed? He plays a very disciplined 40 d end, but how fast can he close distance?

I disagree Mex. He is a great football player, but I think he is a little short for his attributes in d1 on the hardcourt.

Nichols didn't lead Ryle in receptions or yards recieving last season. It would be extremely nice if some of your statements were grounded in reality.

These claims are a load of crap. X was an excellent Ohio football team last year. Doesn't X have one state championship throughout their history and Elder two? Being a good football team isn't measured the same way in Ohio because there is much more paridy between teams in every class. At least their has been since the Catholic schools decided that their students had to play on their own side of the river around greater Cincy.

Defend it however you want. Schedule padding does nothing for your program. If you don't see a difference between New Cath and Lloyd you may want to widen your scope on reality.

First of all, there is a big difference scheduling the number one team in 2A vs. a team that has less than 30 in their program. Secondly, there is no guarantee that Conner makes the playoffs this year. Ryle, SK, Campbell, and Boone will all have something to say about that. Who knows, Cooper may have something to say about it as well. Playing teams like Highlands, Cov Cath, Henry Clay, Middletown, Scott County, and New Cath far better prepare you for tough NKY competition than South Oldham, Scott, and Lloyd. Their scheduling, as I stated earlier, is a joke. It will be likely that they will have a winning record and not make the playoffs. Congrats.
