Lloyd is coming off a big loss to Holmes and Conner is coming off a big win over Scott. What are your thoughts? Please be constructive.

Lloyd needs to stay healthy and contain Conners QB, easier said than done but that is what needs to happen. Juggs are down a few players but get a few back also so we will see, another game that they will overmatched, could be a repeat of last week. Go Juggs.

Conner scrimmage game.

Conner scrimmage game.

Agreed.

Lets hope its more than a scrimmage game. Juggs have to move the ball somehow on offense, they spent last week with their defense on the field. Go Juggs

For Conner's sake I hope the Juggs play a great game.

Please expand on that, for Conner's sake?

Sure. Conner has a tough schedule ahead and playing weak teams such as Scott and Lloyd doesn't really prepare them for those games. It does give them a chance to get inexperienced players experience without concern of mistakes costing them the game. That's the positive.

So, Conner will be better prepared for SK, Boone, CC, and Ryle IF Lloyd gives them a tough game by playing above their heads.

Conner needs to change their schedule. Their current one is ridiculous. What is the point of a 6A school playing a non-ranked 2A school with under 30 player?

Doesn't Conner's current enrollment numbers reflect that of a 5A school?

They are in a 6A district playing 6A competition in the playoffs, if they make it. That won't happen until realignment. Reguardless, how does playing a 2A school with 26 players help a 5A school?

Of course they will make the playoffs. Playing Lloyd allows Conner to work on perfecting things in order to prepare the team for district play which is when the real season begins. It also allows them to expand their depth by giving some underclassman an opportunity to get some playing time. So what class is NCC in? Doesn't Ryle have them scheduled for next week? What class is Ryle in? I'm sure if Lloyd wasn't down, it would be fine to schedule a 2A team, correct? I also believe that Campbell Co. plays NCC this season as well. Why would they play a 2A team? Aren't they 6A? Many times, the schedule agreements between teams are made in prior years. Didn't Holmes (5A) also play Lloyd? Conner has some very good players coming up in their system, and will be a team to be reckoned with in class 5A beginning next year and beyond. Watch out.

It would be 5A based off of the next reclassification.

Overall, I agree. However, Lloyd ruins your argument for Conner. Conner/NC would be a great matchup and great preparation for 6A.

First of all, there is a big difference scheduling the number one team in 2A vs. a team that has less than 30 in their program. Secondly, there is no guarantee that Conner makes the playoffs this year. Ryle, SK, Campbell, and Boone will all have something to say about that. Who knows, Cooper may have something to say about it as well. Playing teams like Highlands, Cov Cath, Henry Clay, Middletown, Scott County, and New Cath far better prepare you for tough NKY competition than South Oldham, Scott, and Lloyd. Their scheduling, as I stated earlier, is a joke. It will be likely that they will have a winning record and not make the playoffs. Congrats.
