The Raiders looked good all night, a balanced attack. Again the Aaron Watts played very well. Quarterback Chris Hale played his best game as a high school QB. Throwing for 200+ yards and 5 touchdowns. These Raiders needed this win after 2 straight loses. They can not celebrate to long, they have to get ready for a very tough Knox Central team next week. Keep up the hard work Raiders, it will pay off in the long run.

after being at both the Raiders games against Onieda and Williamburg. If Williamsburg can stop the run, and they can throw the ball as they have been, then williamsburg wins this game and prehaps wins big. You just don't know what Indian team will show up, the Indians don't seem to throw the ball very well. The Indians will be ready to hit you and hit you hard so be ready Burg. Williamsburg by 10 playing at home.

The Raiders travel to Berea this week, and after a 1-2 start to the season, the question is can the new/old coach of the Raiders find a way to get his team to pick their heads up and try to get back on the winning track. After 2 straight loses, (Oneida and Williamsburg) can the Raiders turn it around for the rest of the season? The Raiders are still moving players around trying to find out where they fit in the line up. On the offense, fumbles have been the problem, they have to hang on to the ball to be able to beat any team! Great run defense, they lack alot when it comes to defending the pass. The last 2 years the Raiders have won this game but only by a few points each game. I think that this year will be no different the Raiders will come away with a win but not by much, Raiders by 8. Mercer by a bunch, Mercer just has to much for Garrard to even think about staying close. the clock will not stop running sometime in the 2nd quarter. Mercer 56 - 6

Very poor showing by the Raiders tonight, way to many give aways to even stay close with the Jackets. Give credit where due, Williamsburg threw the ball very well tonight. Once again I am not real sure of the score but I think it was 40 - 6. The Raiders need to hit the practice field hard this week, and keep their heads up, and get ready for Berea.

As it stands today the game is still scheduled for 4:30 on friday.

This is (Mrs.) Nikeman. I called the school today. It seems that there is something in the "athletic contract" that doesn't allow them to play this game on saturday. Which I proceeded to say 'but with everything about money with schools anymore - you will miss out on a lot with this game'. LOL Not to mention it will be too hot for those boys to play - they'll probably get heat stroke. And it makes it hard for those parents who work - some who might work out of town - to not be able to get there for the game or get there way late into the game. I got the "I understand, but it has to do with the contract and this is what we have to do". I believe I'd be rewriting the contract for future problems like this.

I am hearing that this game will start around 4:30 because of some light problems that McCreary is having. Hope those wishing to watch the game can get off work in time. Has the possibilities to be a good football game.
