If true, I am sure he will be suspended, expelled or something of the sort. There was a kid expelled for making stupid threats a couple weeks ago on the internet. I find it funny that even though Trinity is awesome in Football and Basketball some still try and attack X. Do you really believe if one knucklehead shouts a racial slur X admin would not squash it...

Due to where I sat, I could not hear anything coming from X student section but saw Mr Drury standing in front row and I promise he would not allow the things you are suggesting and if some inappropriate chants or words started they would be squashed. I did sit near T section and to think they were choir boys is amusing. Sounds like both toed the line but to make assumptions about either school's "Class" is not accurate.

X played tough but not playing same game as Trinity. Sad thing is Trinity's recent "emphasis" on basketball talent could spell dome for private schools playing in Khsaa... We will see what happens.

I sat behind Trinity bench and was impressed by the "look test". When Szabo came to Trinity I vividly remember him saying "With these 1,200 boys we should be better.." Well Trinity is now very good but some things are very different and it won't help us win a private/public debate. I thought the, "Mortgage chant" when the Shelbyville kid was shooting free throws was amusing coming from Ballard fan base.

Looking forward to it. Ballard decided to not schedule Trinity this year. Trinity has taken basketball more seriously as of last few years, lets just say their paths cross more frequently. Should be fun! Hope Tigers get chance to play spoiler to winner.

Trinity will have no problem with O Line as their scheme doesn't need to over power anyone. A quick pass block or have Dawkins hide behind then squirt out.

The last two years the gap has grown. You cannot argue that the talent level in football and now basketball is significantly higher. Trinity has always focused on football but wait till you see basketball squad. When Szabo was hired I specifically remember him saying, "With 1,300 boys we should be better..." Well he was wrong. The sweet 16 team a while back was put together by someone with Oldham County kids and couple good CSAA kids and now he has kids from everywhere. Nothing wrong with it, just a different focus. I am not sure what X will do but I don't see us entering "Arms" race.

I appreciate that you seem to understand my post was more centered around X not keeping up with Trinity vs. attacking them for their recent dominating performances. I am truly concerned with where this rivalry goes. X needs to decide at what level we want to compete. I do not see X changing some things coaching/schemes but we will see. Go Tigers

Not sure I follow you but if you think this is the rivalry of even 2 years ago you have your head in the sand. I made no judgment either way just stated facts that it is not the same. Many of the guys you played with would not see the field or the court if you want to talk basketball. What X decides to do is what I am asking. We will struggle to compete if we don't change something. I think you scoring stats prove that as well as provides another "dig". Go Tigers

Hats off to Trinity, they are loaded. I am not sure where this rivalry goes from here if Trinity continues to get the kids they are getting and X stays more conservative on and off the field. We are not playing the same game anymore. Beatty has always had better scheme but not always better players, now he has both. My Tigers will need to make changes if administration decides to elevate football to compete with Trinity or just be 2-3rd best team in state. Jury still out.... Either way, Go Tigers
