The bottom line, IMO, who knows until you play. I played for Hanover College for a bit in the mid 90's and had some guys from Warren Central, Ben Davis, etc.. on my team. They were good but I still think a good X or T team could play and win/compete. I would love to see the Tigers play anyone. Opening the new stadium next year with Ben Davis, Cincy X etc would be great.

I was not there and was curious how H called the offense in the 2nd 1/2. Were they throwing or just scoring by running the ball? Can't wait till we get a crack at them.

I never talk about districting and/or schedules. I wish we both were able to play better teams week in and week out. I feel it would make us better able to compete with the Cincy and Indy schools. It does little good for us to beat teams by 20 plus 6 or more times a year... Yes, my boys should graduate around then pending redshirts and such.:lol:

Not sure what you are referring to. I clearly stated I have not seen Trinity and was curious what other weapons they had. Thanks for the answer. Hopefully we will have a chance to play in Nov.

I did not want to agrue on if he was open or not. It was just one of 4 errors that we dug our hole with, whether he was open or not. From where I sat I would have thrown the ball. The quick hitter we fumbled on was a nice run on an old school X dive play. Our O line must get more of a push to give Vic and Duece time to gather speed. No one has responded to my question on other weapons Trinity has besides # 5. If he goes out who takes the load? Would he be a major loss like Vic would be for us?

I have not seen but 10 minutes of the Rocks this year but early on they were getting #5 the ball a ton. He is fast, hard to see and has good hands. He seems to be their main weapon. Who picks up the slack when he is out? I felt like we were watching the finals again with everything going wrong for X. Poor tackling, turnovers, etc... How wide open was that tight end on that pick??? I was expecting a 15 yd gain until the ball was 10 yds short. Trinity had the "swagger" and X looked asleep. If we are lucky enough to get past Male we better not spot the Rocks 10 and the ball or it could get rough. Write this down if we lose to Male. Trinity will beat Male again mainly because like last time Redmon won't stop the junk defense.

I understand that X will have to go through Male to get another shot at Trinity. We all know Male is tough. Is there decent team Trinity would have to face in th 1-2 rounds?

Was this an upset? Sounds like it was an old school X vs T game. Great job Baby Tigers!! Hope the injured player is OK, anyone have info on him?

First of all, I have never used Rocks in my posts I normally use T or X. Sorry I forgot to hit the shift key. I will triple check from now on so I don't offend you.

Thanks. It was nice to get a typical back-handed answer/comment from you. Not knowing much about the kids playing I will give the edge to the rocks due to having a home field, more games and better showing against Moeller. They could also have more talent for all I know. Go Tigers, Road Warriors...

It appears that X has only played 2 games and the last was a couple weeks back. How many games has T played?

X feels it is better to let kids play JV ball that don't get to play a significant role on varsity. Trinity would rather use it as "developement" for its Jr's first off the bench in varsity games. I would rather us play with loaded guns against you but I appreciate Glaser's philosophy to let kids play that otherwise would have to wait a year or two.

If you and your other fans feel good about it that is all that matters. Win at all costs continues.... I like and appreciate the way we do it even if it causes us to only have 11.

I like our chances if we stay out of 3rd and long and have a few sustained drives with a successful PAT! I admit I am a fan of the QB at Trinity, he gets more out of his body than most QB's his size. We must keep him in the pocket. After the smoke and emotions clear I see a much closer game than the last two regular season matches. I feel either team can win, with one big play, by no more that 7. I did not say it was right or wrong just that I think Beatty has more of a college philosophy in running his program. This is an opinion site, correct? I just feel Glaser is a better fit for what X values. We value more than football titles. Don't get me wrong, Glaser and X want them badly.

Did anyone hear the first question to Beatty on the radio? He made no effort to say he does not play varsity contributors in JV games. Good for him they won and lost. Won the game with better players but lost track of the purpose of high school athletics. That is why I will take Glaser any day over Beatty. He has the attitude I want in my high school coach, it is about the kids! Go Tigers

Some of you guys amaze me with your ability to not see the big picture of this week and look like children on this site. I am so tired of hearing about who plays who. I wish X would attack this game with a fully loaded gun , but I am not a coach and we won last year so maybe it can work sometimes. Both sides are vaild reasons for doing what they do. I understand and appreciate that Glaser and Trinty have a different approach to this game and week. Both are fine but I will still take Glaser any day. Go Tigers

Sounds like they put it on my Tigers. I am so tired of the "who plays who discussion." I don't care if Seniors play. I would love to see X play a kid like Zoeller that could use the experience in big game. I thought he played a great game in last year's JV game. When is the Freshman game? I have heard Trinity fans are very confident based on the Moeller game. Go Tigers

I know we did not play Jr's when I was there but believe things have changed. I am all for playing Jr's that see little or no varsity experience. The only reason I won't be there is because it it is my anniversary and my wife's priorities are out of line... No matter who suits up for X or T, GO TIGERS!!:flame:

Highlands should be proud of the way they counter punched in the 2nd half. X's D gave up too many big plays. I never thought I would say this but "Will X ease up on the passing." We need to make team stop the run first. I would be happy never throwing on 1st down. Kramer and 41 were solid players; are they seniors? That 4th and 4 pass was a great call...
