Almost as bad as saying John Hardin nearly played for a state championship isn't it?

I never realized that the X-Men were into claiming moral victories.

It appears that St. X likes to count their eggs before they hatch! just like having pre-made sweat shirts and tee shirts claiming the State Championship behind their sidelines last year. Before the game was even played! and the team designed their championship rings before the game as well. Interesting! very interesting!

Local 'lore has it that some years ago another AAAA team designed their championship rings before a championship game as well. It didn't work out very well for them either.

It's printed in their game program...I saw it last Friday as well.

 

Along with the big ad that states "St. Xavier Tigers and Our Place Liquors...2 great teams!"

You guys are reaching for things....:confused:

I didn't think high schools were allowed (or at the very least not supposed) to take liquor store ads. I know in the "old days" beer companies sponsored EVERYTHING, but I thought I'd heard somewhere that it can no longer be done. In fact, I remember at the LIT in Louisville Gardens a couple of years ago, covers had to be placed over the beer signs on the scoreboard (?)

Once and for all, so this will be settled ...
