I agree with this post and score, X needs a break/mistake or two. Injuries and mistakes have cost X a game or two when they were favored. I think all agree this would be upset of series. Go Tigers, shock the world!!

I would take that risk with saftey support. I think T has proved traditional D doesn't work.

I feel X has improved but must come up with long drives that yield touchdowns, force T turnovers, or make Trinity drive the long field. Must be 7 point game in fourth to have a chance. Need to stop the bubble to Quick and keep Dawkins between tackles. Yes, all tough tasks. I have a question. Can the Defense make contact with receiver receiving the bubble while ball is in air? If so I go man/man with Quick and hit him everytime he goes lateral. Go Tigers

You are right, we hate visitors. We should swap stadiums with Trinity because local teams will still play us.

Very nice 2 paragraphs by the courier on X's Upset Win.... I get Trinity is very good but "Come on Man". X beats a good Manual and very good Cincy St X and gets maybe a combined 4 paragraphs between the two games. Go Tigers

I agree, but I should have said now Trinity taking basketball to a new level with type of kids they are pursuing. This has them competing on and off the court with Ballard.

He is also upset Trinity has taken some would be Bruins and a Shelby County transfer. Much like football, many more athletes now at Trinity. Interesting to see if this continues will anyone play them. Ask Lexington Cath about how they were welcomed when they made a similar change in the early late 1990's and early 2000's....

If we can get him just get him to stop the bubble screen to Quick and tackle Dawkins we will be in business. Yes, we need more but we will give it a shot.

Manual is an impressive looking team with size and athletes. Linebacker cost them 2 big penalties on first drive. Both teams gave up big pass plays at bad times. How does X not have a safety over top of number 1 on that late touchdown??!! Big mistake! I HATE excessive celebration penalties unless it is truly excessive, X's was not. Referees were "noticeable" which means poor for both teams. IMO Mattingly is very gifted and one of best in area.

I agree that this is rather insignificant but I was told Beatty behaved like a jerk to referees for enforcing the penalty. Maybe he was just upset with his kids. Kids just thinking they are like their NFL heros... I am sure many flirt with the rule.

I am pumped to go back to Manual Stadium, best in the area by far IMO. The history, neighborhoood, Checks, Flabby's.... Go Tigers!! X by 21

The problem defending Trinity is not only Quick but Dawkins behind the huge O line. If Trinity losses one of them they "might" be beatable if X or Manual played "Perfect" game. Trinity wins by 40+, stop the bubble screen and they still win by 30+. Go Tigers

I am sure that is it. I am torn on this question, Who is more upset by Trinity dominating: Public School Coaches seeing Quick-Dawkins-White-Hatcher etc. carry a team or CSAA kids thinking, if this recent trend continues like this they will not be able to play a skilled postion except maybe QB at Trinity ever again? Yes, X has a few but not close to what Trinity is putting on football and basketball court.

Both teams had PF's, you dominated 2nd half. Can you not be happy with that?

Good game for a while. Trinity is great with Quick and Dawkins. Tigers are good too (Mattingly is SOLID) but don't have a 1-2 punch like those 2. They are difference makers, period. See you in few weeks.

Many blown coverages by both. X play calling was better than I expected. Could not run sweep but kept trying. #9 for X was best receiver on field. Trinity QB is good and a difference maker but T Db's were lost a couple times and kept X in game. #48 for X is very good and that run down of Trinity receiver by #56 was best effort of the night. Overall team talent seemed close but Trinity has better schemes on offense. When will we catch up to that, I don't know... Go Tigers

It is amusing how even with Trinity on top of world, some of you are still hung on any phrase or quote that Glaser makes. Trinity is awesome, enjoy it. X will be fine. As it stands now we are not in the "Arms race" with you in football and basketball and will have to find a way to compete. Go Tigers

Trinity will likely win because they have better players and schemes. They have taken football and basketball to a different level. These aren't you 80's or 90's Shamrocks. Tigers will play hard but could get frustrated. Is Mattingly going to be back? Go Tigers
