We have seen alot of upsets lately. Could this be another one?

Hope it is not. Also hope the T bb Coaches are as effective as the fb Coaches in getting the kids ready to play against each team - regardless of prior meetings, records, etc. I truly believe that they are.

Always have a healthy respect for the Tiger's.

ONe more in the way on the way to Rupp.

Do not need another upset like that which befell poor Madison Central :idunno:

GOOD LUCK ROCKS.

T wins. To many horses. I hope that it is an exciting game though.

Here's to a Hoosier's moment. I wonder if any of these kids have ever seen it??

Go TIGERS!

First all-Catholic regional final in Louisville since 1955. St. X won that one over Flaget.

Don't worry Braves, we'll get 'em back for you.

St. X was my sleeper pick after seeing the regional draws so Im sticking with them. It would be a great story for coach Klein with all the health issues he had to deal with one of his kids. Im not sure of all the details but I believe his daughter had to have a liver transplant. Coach Klein is a class act.

Klein is a very good guy (for that matter so is Szabo). However I cannot see X even keeping this close. I did not see the games last Thurs, but my good friend (and an X grad) stayed for both and he said the T/Ballard game was like watching a Bellarmine game - they just played at a different level than X/Central. I think Ballard basketball in 2012 will be like Male football in 2006. The obvious #2 team in the state had to exit early.

Is there an arena between the size of Bellarmine and Freedom Hall to play the 7th Region. People probably going to get turned away again. 7th Region full of large schools. Need more than 2300 seats.

Would like to see X pull the upset....

Could not agree with you more. Woefully inadequate. Don't see how it is even functional for Bellarmine and how far they have brought their program. This gym should not be used. Last Tues. - 4 game set - 1 concession stand open.

A new and better venue needs to be found.

Not really. The Garden has been condemned. Broadbent and Freedom Hall to high of rent charge plus parking cost. Next year regionals will be moved to Valley's new gym that will seat 3,200.

I agree 100%. I would love to go to the game tonight, but I'm not going to fight the crowd and parking issues and then be turned away. The game should have been moved to Freedom Hall.

And this is not sitting well for some. I got the wrath of it firsthand last week.

Truly pitiful!!!
