  1. Thanks for the verify on that one!
  2. Oh I agree, I want to see the Lions take off and do great. That's only something time can tell. It would tickle me to death to see the Lions have a great winning season this year.
  3. I wouldn't let that man close enough to spit in my cereal. I've seen him do enough of that in players faces.
  4. Anyone goin over into souther Ohio should go out to Rock Hill and check out their turf.
  5. I agree, I loved the atmosphere it's what makes the kids feel they're somewhere besides that high school field.
  6. photograph is a good one by them too
  7. You hit the nail on the head with this one.
  8. Well I have to have my wonders about him too if it's true they moved Vince up to coach the freshmen receiving team. If Evans was behind that move then I don't see much changes in as far as improvement for Boyds football program.
  9. Then again you could always go metal with the memory remains:ylsuper:
  10. Cotton Eyed Joe, uhmm We will Rock You. If all else fails there's always the Chicken dance (just kidding)
  11. I hear Trimble is taking on the middle school. I hope to see him have a successful year and work fair with the boys.
  12. Geographically speaking, parts of ohio have always been stronger too.
  13. I gotta agree that it's worth the lil extras, there was nothing like seeing those big blasts when CJ hit that grandslam last year. Can only imagine how awesome he felt hearing and seeing that display.
  14. Triplett to withdraw from race for Ironton football coach http://www.irontontribune.com/articles/2006/06/18/news/news546.txt
  15. I totally agree and I do look for him back. It was all a matter of give'n the athletic director a smack on the hands.
  16. Well just read'n it all made me dizzy so I'm not even gonna get into this one other than to say I like the ohio way of it.
  17. I guess I'd like to see Beechwood get it just to break the Lexington winning streak!
  18. Thanks Woody, move'n from Ports West to Ironton could get a little fire stired up too. I need to hit more Ohio games It's just too hard to cover them all!
  19. I didn't follow Oak Hill or Symms Valley lately. Was it Coach Marsh maybe that went to Symms or Herb Conley? (long day, old timers acting up big time)
  20. Big Congrats from this way too. Looking very forward to seeing the season get goin!
  21. I'm still amazed with that pitchers speed then loosing to beechwood on errors.....ugh.
  22. I think it would be nice to see some old style football tried out for a change.
  23. I'm guessing too that the Merril Triplett they're considering must be the son or grandson of the one I know. Cause the one I know is a politician not a coach. I do know some of the people mentioned in the article, I'll have to give Rhonda a call, I think her son will be a Sr. on the team this year. That I'm sure is why she's in there on the coaches advisory board.
  24. In ohio all they have to do is rehire Lutz and then he can double dip, get pension and pay. Rock Hill's Superintendents been doing that one for years over there.
  25. I found this in some 2002 Ironton Archives: Mark Vass, an athletic standout at Ironton, was named head golf coach at Heidelberg College. Vass also serves as an assistant football coach at the school. http://www.irontontribune.com/articles/2002/12/30/sports/export8612.txt
