Congratulations to Coach Evans and his staff.....Look forward to watching this year.:dancingpa :dancingpa

It was in the daily independent today.

Big Congrats from this way too. Looking very forward to seeing the season get goin!

Congrats to Lee Evans.....

I knew the search shouldn't go to far....

Good Luck.

I hear Trimble is taking on the middle school. I hope to see him have a successful year and work fair with the boys.

Good hire for BC imo.

Congratulations to Lee Evans. This is a good decision by BC, IMO.

Lee Evans would probably the best choice we had at this time. Lee is a great guy and should be a good Coach.

The only problem I have with it is, keep in mind no negativity towards Lee, that Boyd obviously hasnt had Coaches in the past that could produce knowledgable Football players, that should be stepping up to take over the Reigns of the County. Ashland has produced some good coaches from good football players.

Once again, Lee will be a great coach, but makes you wonder if he really carries that true Boyd Tradition and History? Hope he does!

Well I have to have my wonders about him too if it's true they moved Vince up to coach the freshmen receiving team. If Evans was behind that move then I don't see much changes in as far as improvement for Boyds football program.

You really don't like this Vince guy. Does he spit in your cereal or something everymorning?

I wouldn't let that man close enough to spit in my cereal. I've seen him do enough of that in players faces.

Let it go Bro, let it go. We understand you're not fond of Vince Jones. We get it. Onward and upward I say. Go Lions in 2006.

Oh I agree, I want to see the Lions take off and do great. That's only something time can tell. It would tickle me to death to see the Lions have a great winning season this year.

I'm not real optimistic sad to say,, it might be deemed a rebuilding year. Hopefully we will be surprised. Should have some speed though. Joey White will run hard and fast.

I agree 110%. Joey should rack up some yards if he has some blocking. I am hoping for a good year. Joey is a great kid. I think the Barker kid will show some flash this year as well. Good luck LIONS!!!:thumb:

Who do you all think is going to get QB for varsity this year? They were working with Joey, like I said before i missed the 7 on 7 but hear they had a different boy in there that did a good job.
