That is what I like about you Apex, no matter the circumstances, you do your best to cheer on your team! I wish the radio guys would learn a thing or two from you! Whitley has been down this year, but they did not fair that well with the last head coach either, I mean one district in 15 yrs! The number of players has always been somewhere between 30-60! Anyway, good luck tonight against the Rock!

I was not having fun at Whitley's expense, they should have beat Middlesboro, they should have won all thier district games, and they must certainly should have Lynn Camp. But should haves do not mean W's. I believe that Whitley is very athetic, but I also think that the line play is down this year, but I think that they are a young team, just about like every team in the tri-county! I don't think Whitley will win up at Rock, score Rock +6

I think Wright, Dinky, Tony P., Pineville's head coach is a class act, Pennington has done a nice job at LC. In the 50th district, I think Wright, Tony P., Robinson, and whoever is Whitley's coach is this year! Those two could flip flop, during the course of the year.

I saw another thread that had 16th and I just thought it would be fun to rate the coaches of the 13th!

I could not agree more Daddy Cat! Williamsburg is not good enough to over look anyone, especially a rival such as Pineville, where they have handed Williamsburg thier tails more than once!

IF Williamsburg can hit, they might win at Pineville, Pineville has some speed to them! If another thread is correct Williamsburg must win this game for home playoffs. I am pulling for them, stay focus and do your best, everything else will fall into place!

Barton was excellent in middle school ball, I have no clue about the numbers, but I know that he and the williams kid about upset Whitley's 7th last year. I asked Coach Conn what his numbers were so I could tell you but all he said was alot!

:ylsuper: Whitley always has a had a great program talk to the radio announcers on 104.3 they will tell you! As far as Coach Jerry Herron taking the job out there, that is his buisness, I doubt that he would! I still think it is premature to be discussing future coaches of Whitley's program, I think that they got a great one, maybe just maybe it is the system itself::sssh:

Williamsburg had over 400 yrds of offense in this one, and 4TD catches by Aaron Brock!

I think that distance is the major reason must kids don't play, I heard that it would take an hour to two hours after practice to get home on a bus, no kid will ever do that, but that is just my opinion.

:laugh:, That is just funny! I thought Campbell brought Whitley to its greatness, and so on and so forth! As for coach Black, he is a good man, but he knew what he was getting into when he decided to leave Williamsburg. I hope that he stays on board, so at least he can right the ship. Good luck to him in all that he does!

I think that Williamsburg has the potential to win 8-12 ballgames this year. I believe that they have one senior Colton Terry! If they can find a leader and pull all the parts together, it should be a fun year. If they get selfish it will be a long year! Their front court will be 6'4 and 6'7, their backcourt could be one of the quickest they have had. They have the potential to be as many as 5 deep off the bench. I think that a two maybe even three freshmen and an eighth grader has the potential to see playing time at the varsity level. I also know that they field a big team, a true freshman team, JV team, and a varsity team this year, that has not been done in a long while.

I agree with Apex, they are the best team, if they lose, one of those games, alot of people should be upset! Getting out of that district last year, has to help, I mean Madison Central, and GRC are the real deal, and unfortunitly we know what that meant for Whitley!
