  1. To witness, to help others, to encourage, to understand others, to just simply understand, and probably the most important listen (or in this case read) That is why I like it here.
  2. Thanks for the info:thumb: Wow, I would be interested to see how the ruling goes.
  3. I agree but hey the constitution does not matter any more! Both side of the aisles have proven that time and again.
  4. I agree! We (as an american people) have forgotten how to work hard, instead we( the american people) believe that we are entitled to things, such as a house, car, t.v. when their is nothing garenteed (sp) I think that one way to correct this attitude and appreciation for such things; as an education, is make life once more brutal. However, we are a government of the people, by the people, and for the people, therefore, we would never allow this to come to pass, without turning to some alternative solution such as socialism. This is where I think we are in today's society. People are looking for a handout instead of a hand up, I say cut it all, start programs like the CCC and really work on the infrastructor (sp) of the U.S., then let us rethink what is really important in our country use money to work towards that goal. Also, while I am at it, make it an admenment to the constitution that a senitor can only serve 2 terms (12 years) and Congress can only serve 6 terms (12 years) take away the lobbying.
  5. I think Williamsburg has a rough road Lexington Christion Raceland Hazard Beechwood
  6. I agree: For an example are Christians morally obligated; yes. Are Americans? No, but this is just a simple opinion
  7. I think it depends? If we go by the Constitution we don't have to worry about that line as an American people, but if we do not go by the constitution (which we don't) then yes we have to be able to draw that line somewhere. Thoughts?
  8. We have a moral obligation but no where, no how, is it a constitutional obligation, we have to keep that in mind.
  9. When and why should the government go into the private sector? I have real issues with this question. Under what authority does the government do such a thing? Is bailing out the big three a responsibile thing to do? Where in the constitution everyone is entitled to a house, a car, or even a job? Would you do this with your own child? For those that said yes, let us say your child ran up a credit card debt, you love them so you paid it off, only to see your child run up another credit card debt, you love them so on and so forth, now you have created more of a dependent on you. So what is the point, love sometimes has to be tough! Please understand, I know that I sound heartless, but it is the exact opposite, we are a great people that once pushed in a cornor we will come out and fight, not have someone else (the government) to come and fight for us! If we don't get back to this train of thought, apathy will set in, then destruction. Getting back to that thought though will be difficult, someone said that 13 million jobs could be lost, a sacrifice, but if they are worth thier mustard and God is with them (which He said He will be with us always) they will bounce back!
  10. I never said they were soft, I was trying to point out they have a great defense. That is all.
  11. DaddyCat is very wise, LCA is a great team, great backs, great QB, great line, great receivers, and we have not even to start talking about the defense yet. They held Hazard who is a great team and the Lynn Camp Wildcats to under 20 points? People need to look at that defense, not just that back, who very well could be the best in the state. With all of that said, I love the 'burg always have and always will. I look forward to seeing what these young men will bring Friday night.I believe that they will not back down at any point, they will continue to hit and play hard through bad breaks and good breaks, not letting down, putting together 4 quarters and then some if need be, they can do this, I know that they can. Jackets if you read this; believing is the first step, the second step is to make it happen. No matter what, know that I and many others are proud of you and we believe. Good luck!
  12. LCA is a great football team, no doubt about it.
  13. Moderation is key, basically where your heart is, if you love to drink, overeat, or have sexual relations more so than the Father, then yes it is a sin.
  14. Obama is the antio-christ, hilter, stalin,... he eats the old at night, destroys the constitution, the media is for him, our youth will listen to him instead of God, or parents... fear, fear, fear, fear.... no worse of a fear than someone saying "you are either with us or against us" Come on folks, let us use a little common sense here. Not everyone is for or against us, no I don't think that Obama is the Anti-Christ, he may have different ideas than I do, but that is o.k., I will not be like some and think that my ideas are the best way. I believe that the Rep and Dems are both the worse thing for this country right now. Anyway, I just have to get that off my chest.
  15. Deuteronomy 34:1-10 2 Chronicles 7:12-18 Matthew 5:13-16 Acts 19:21-41 Romans 8:18-25 1 Timothy 2:1-8 There are some verses to help you on your quest of answering your questions. Godspeed!:thumb:
  16. I would hope that it is not their morality but where they put stock in eternaty (sp) As far as the statement not everyone is a Christian, what is a christian's commission?
