  1. That is alright, we can only hope by our example, they can understand tolerance. As far as the grandmother statement, what a wonderful way to witness, because if you could explain why they did, maybe, they will hear and understand the message, then we have done what we were suppossed to do.
  2. The question at hand is tolerance? My question is how do you define tolerance? I am a christian which means that I believe that the Son of God, (The Only God) came to Earth to sacrifice Himself for our sins and rose again on the third day. While God was here, He taught us many things, to love our Father, to love our neighbor, and to tell others about what He has done. I believe that tolerance comes from the second major subject that the Son taught us, love our neighbor. Is it not more loving of a parent to take away a gun from a child and tell the child that it is harmful. In the same way, if I believe the way I do, and I do, a soul will be lost if the message is not presented to them. That to me would be the worst mistake of all, because someone called me intollerant. In the early church many christians perished because of the message and many more will continue. Now, we could get into the ideas of presenting the message.... which comes in tolerance... Just remember that Jesus has Risen!!!
  3. I went in around 10:00 and it was about 15 minute wait, go BARR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
  4. How about the electorial college, the truth is Obama can not win in the state of Kentucky, the electorial college will vote for Mccain here, so all votes for Obama are basically wasted right? So realistically they are wasting their vote. Out in California, MCcain has no chance of winning, so those people are wasting their vote, right? The electorial college will give its votes to Obama. To me there is no difference in those people's rationale than why I and a few others are voting the way we are. Am I wrong on any of these points? I would understand, if the President was determined by popular vote, but as it was proven in the last election it is not. That is reality.
  5. I will just say this in the tri-county area Williamsburg is the second best team from a historical stand-point! Winning record against, Knox, Whitley, Lynn Camp, only one not Corbin. That is the history. Like it or not that is how it is.
  6. Well, Brothers and Sisters, I am glad we are back at naming sins once more... :scared: I am going to state my simple opinion one more time, is abortion a sin, yes, is lust, yes, is glutteny, yes, is considering that we know more that God, yes, is gambling a sin, possible, is not feeding the poor a sin, yes,... well, I could keep going, but what is the point of that... nothing, we all are sinners, we all need forgiveness, praise God that He sent His Son so all that believe will be saved should be the message, to love your neighbor as yourself, to Love God with all of your heart, mind, and soul. Instead, I see us condemning one another, for something that we all fall short of, instead of encouraging one another. So allow me to tell you God loves you, and if I can ever help any of you (within my means), it would be my pleasure, because God loves me! Amen!!!!:dancingpa
  7. Now, I know you are being sarcastic, but here is the truth, things have been wrong since the beginning, the old testiment was given to make them right, but even though the law was perfect, we still could not follow, so God sent His Son to tell/show us the true meaning of the law. With the examples given we are held accountable by our action. So I guess your question is "what action do I take?" Do I vote for Obama or MCcain? I personally am convicted about a more important question, "How do I show the Christ is the Only Way, how can I show my neighbor that I love him or her, how can I show God that I cherish Him? OK so three in one questions. I will do it by one individual at time, continually prayer hopeful from everyone here, and try to take right action by doing, instead of talking about things that are out of my control. As for my vote, I am voting for Bob Barr, only because I believe that church needs to take more responsibility instead of the government, but if the church does not want it, then I will support the government in helping others.
  8. This whole thread is very interesting... I call myself a christian, show me ONE canadate that can be equal to Jesus. Show me one person to vote for that cares about social justice which Jesus did seek out and most of his sermons were on and in the very same breath holds one accountable for his or her actions. The truth is you can not because it is not how you win an election to hold someone accountable. We have preverted the idea of social justice too, we think social justice mean distrabution of wealth, but the democrates have long held the ideas that everyone is equal. So what is the point to me writing, if you are convicted to not to vote for Obama or MCcain for that matter great, but do not judge others for their voting (watch the beam in your own eye, I believe was the warning), instead, focus on what matters spreading the message that OUR Savior Died for our sins and that through Him, we can once again be connected to the Almighty. That is what we are committed to doing, Mathew Ch. 28 verse 19. We are also suppossed to love one another and love God, I think that I read that somewhere as well. I love you all. May God bless everyone of you including those that vote for Obama and MCcain.:dancingpa
  9. Whitley takes down the single A!!!! Whitley 66 Lynn camp 12
  10. Ladies and Gentlemen Three words "Vote Bob Barr"
  11. I think that it is a shame for newspapers to play politics, in Whitley Co. Nothing but Republicans, where are the Libertairians...
  12. Because we "think" we are in the land of the free but we are not, think about it, the media is will either think one way or the other conservative or liberal, (fox and cnn), therefore since they control the media do you think that would hear about another option. So the main question is what do we do about it, time and time again I hear how the two main canadates from two parties do not meet the people's needs. Well, IMHO, find the canadate that meets your needs the most and vote for that person, that is all that we really can do. Now people will tell you that you might be wasting your vote, but I say your voice matters, no matter if it does not win, so be it, but at least you can sleep well at night. God Bless the USA and may He continue to shower his blessings on me and to the people of BGP.:ylsuper: p.s. vote Bob Barr:D
  13. No way, Whitley will win this hands down! Whitley as much as 14 to 20 points
  14. We needed Bob Barr on there and then you would have heard a difference!
  15. I agree, but I also agree that everyone must choose to live a life according to their own concious(sp), this is where I have issues with the R. party. Hense why I am for the L. Party:dancingpa
  16. It bothers me on the left and right. There again is not a true canadate, other than for Bob Barr! Check him out, most would lean alot towards his stances.
  17. How is Campbellsville be the underdog. They beat Williamsburg, not once but twice and at Williamsburg. Campbellsville has also played an extremely difficult schedule.
  18. Lunsford will get my vote be default, I warned McConnel that I would not vote for him if he voted yes for the 810 billion dollar bail out. I will keep my word.
  19. But the republican and democrate nominee both are for buying companies for the government so people can borrow more money, so more people can go into debt who can not pay off their debt loans. Sound economic policy from both camps. Don't you agree:confused: Vote Bob Barr!
