Rock will name the score.

Rock will name the score.

Nope I don't think so! Rock will win but the way their offense is playing they cannot name the score.

RC 21

WC 7

Should be a good game, Rock has struggled a lot this year but should pull this one out.

Closer than the experts think...Whitley may surprise.

They are struggling right now...it seems after some very competitive games early the team has become discouraged over time...there are some outside forces that are hurting the team as well. It seems as though every parent in Whitley County is JoePa and knows all about football coaching. Coach Black and his team are fighting battles off the field they should not have to deal with, but if they get through it they will be better for it in the long run.

Believe me...I am NOT a Whitley fan by any means, but I do feel for the kids and coaches that are having to deal with some of the things that are going on out in Goldbug.

They have potential to be better than they are, but as I said after some tough early set-backs the wheels got very loose and may have very well fallen off the wagon for WCHS...maybe they can right the ship and get a few wins to get some silver lining, for this season's end, going into next season.

I have predicted some lopsided scores this season but I have learned my lesson. I love Rockcastle football but this is not a Rockcastle team I am used to seeing. A few years back, heck, my senior year we would have won this game by 35+.

Friday night at the Rock, the score will be 20-7. One of those scores will be off a turnover.

Agreed, Whitley is the best 2-7 team I have seen!

I thought that Whitley Co. would be at the worst 6-3 at this point. I'm not sure what all has gone wrong down there, but the fans are getting pretty disgruntled. As bad as it's been, they could still win their district, which could sooth some of the pain from the last two seasons.

Rockastle Co. 28-7.

I totally agree with you they have struggled alot but this time they have the homefield advantage and that makes a difference. ROCK 24 Whitley 6.:thumb::thumb:

I don't know about this weeks game, and I don't know if you are being serious or having some fun at Whitley's expense, but a break here and there, and not missing the second head of their two headed QB would have helped more than words can say.

I do know this, if Whitly can some how right their ship and go on and win the district they WILL be the best 4-9 or 5-8 team you have seen!!!!!!

With the young team Whitley has, every week of practice will help them so making the playoffs is big, and if they could win one that would be bigger. Over the course of a 4 year period the incoming freshmen could end up with close to or over an extra season worth of practice just from having success in the playoffs.

That is one way good teams help sustain their success, and up and coming teams build success.

I was not having fun at Whitley's expense, they should have beat Middlesboro, they should have won all thier district games, and they must certainly should have Lynn Camp. But should haves do not mean W's. I believe that Whitley is very athetic, but I also think that the line play is down this year, but I think that they are a young team, just about like every team in the tri-county! I don't think Whitley will win up at Rock, score Rock +6

Rock can and will win this game by 20+.

It's not the kids or the missing QB in my opinion, it is the offensive scheme they are trying to run.

After watching the Lynn Camp game, I have no idea how they are moving the ball on the ground against anyone. The short and medium passes were killing us somewhat, but he kept going back to some sort of direct snap formation that I don't think produced a positive yard the whole night. (IF there was any gain off the direct snap, it was not much yardage and then was negated by another direct snap for nothing.)

I did not see the number of kids on the sideline that Whitley has usually to throw at us and win through attrition, and I did not see the size that Whitley normally has.

What all has to happen for Whitley to win the district? I only see one district win on the scoreboard. That is so weird that a district can be won with only one district win....
