Class A, District 6 Tie Breaker

Featured Replies

As of Monday ( 10-29-07 ) :

Williamsburg - 14 total points : wins over McCreary(3), Bath(6), Everts(5)

Lynn Camp - 9 total points : wins over Cumberland(6), Harlan(1), and

Whitley Co.(2)

Campbellsville - 7 total points : wins over Taylor Co.(4), McCreary(3)

Remaining Schedule :

Williamsburg vs/ Pineville ( possible 4 wins )

Lynn Camp vs/ Middlesboro ( possible 6 wins )

Campbellsville vs/ Glasgow ( possible 7 wins )

That is the way it appears to me at this time. In this crazy football season, anything can happen. There are many possibilities of the final outcome. Have fun crunching the numbers of your team and Good Luck this Friday night.

Williamsburg seems to be the only one in complete control of their destiny at this point. Lynn Camp and Campbellsville would both need Williamsburg to loose to have and chance at the one cede. Campbellsville seems to be in the worst spot because even if they win this Friday they are not guaranteed a first round home playoff game.

Lynn Camp 42 Campbellsville 14

Campbellsville 68 Williamsburg 36

Williamsburg 40 Lynn Camp 34

Crazy District Race..... If things stay the same, Williamsburg will get to drube Clinton Co. again and C-Ville goes back to Lynn Camp. Could this 2nd meeting between Lynn Camp and Campbellsville be different? Or do the Campers have C-Ville's number this year.

Crazy District Race Part II...... If Campbellsville beats Glasgow, and Lynn Camp and Williamsburg both lose this Friday, and Taylor Co. wins and Bath and Everts lose, than Campbellsville would be the number 1 seed based on the tie-breaker. Lynn Camp would finish with 9 total points, Williamsburg with 14 total points and Campbellsville with 15 points.

Crazy District Race Part III...... If Williamsburg wins Friday, they lock up the #1 seed.

Crazy District Race Part IV...... Willaimsburg wins, Campbellsville wins and Lynn Camp loses, than Lynn Camp would visit Campbellsville in the first round.

Evarts is off this Friday I do believe.

head hurting.........

Mine would too. :creepy:

The first two rounds should be interesting. I think Lynn Camp and Campbellsville have made themselves better for the playoffs, by playing tougher non-district schedules, and I do expect that game to a lot closer then before.

Williamsburg played a rough non-district schedule as well

For Williamsburg it was a lot better.

Williamsburg is ranked 214 out of 221 in enrollment of football playing schools. I would think any schedule would be fine!

Any schedule would be fine but I do believe the Williamsburg players and coaches want to compete on the highest level, and you can't do that if you don't play a tough schedule, and I agree for a while they didn't play as tough of a schedule as they probably should have and there were some years when it might have hurt them in district play, but either way they played a pretty good schedule this year and thats what counts now.

All three teams are young teams. C-Ville has 2 seniors. The Campers and The Jackets are the same. Being young and having a little talent is a good thing. As far as the schedule goes, to show young talent how to be the best, you have to play the best. I have always been a fan of that mindset. Here is their non-district opponents total records :

Campbellsville 47-18

Lynn Camp 37-26

Williamsburg 32-34

Those are competitive numbers. Good Luck to all Campers and Jackets this Friday. May all 3 teams play hard and let the chips fall where they may....

With all 3 teams being so young this district may prove to be one of the toughest in the new class A over the next couple of years anyways.

W'burg schedule was no cake walk....
