I don't understand why this game was just moved this week, hasn't it been scheduled since early spring? This really hurts the true basketball fan that was wanting to watch all 10 teams in the EKC and probably hurts concessions and gate $ for Lewis/EKC!!

Saw someone from Shawnee State @ the game, who were they there watching, I would guess maybe the 2 big guys(Thompson from Lewis & Barnhill from EC). Any details??

I thought it was bad both ways tonite. I felt sorry for B. Hall also, team fouls were 6(LC)-1(EC), then Coach Hampton gets a T called on him, very deserving on a horrible call (they call a walk after 2 players have a collision, call a block or a charge and neither coach can say much). After the T, team fouls goto 10(EC)-8(LC). Then late in game Coach Baker gets T'ed, by same ref, and team fouls from that point on were like 7-1(EC favor) last 3 minutes, and Lewis got hit on a couple shots late. Just bad game for the refs, but both ways.

I know one was Josh Hughes, the other I believe was Keith Prater.

Interviews were completed on Wed, site base met today, should have a coach in place tomorrow. I heard there were only 2 interviewed.

Should know who the LC coach is officially by the end of the week.

It would be a mistake to bring someone in from the outside again, nothing against Coach Combs, but it needs to be someone local. It must be someone that can get the kids in the school to play. Bill Parcells would be a good coach, but even he could not win with 16 kids on a football team!!

RH has also lost a 7th grader that enrolled somewhere else, not sure the reason, will there be more of them???? :devil:

How are they doing in the 16th region tournament? Heard a lot of people was not to high on them in the semi final games.

Timmy Knipp did not even gaurd Euton, he was helping off his man some and double teamed him some. Faulkner twins got the assignment of Euton and Jackson. But Knipp did play well.

Elliott wins by 5.

Coach Biggs won't be able to ask the crowd to stand and cheer, as East wins by 10.

I agree, I thought it was very consistent on both ends. A little rough but if you want to compete in the region and state tourney, this is the way it is officiated!!

The refs had blocked him out because he yelled on every call against him the entire game.

You are wrong about the second part. He came out with 26.7 seconds to go after hitting 2 free throws. They did have someone ready to come in for him with about 1:30 to go, but there where no dead balls.

Only if you take out there only loss to Mason Co. Elliott's a very solid team, I hope they can pull it off. It will be very tough game for both teams, both have there own style, which is very different!!
