I may be way off base here, and quite frankly would love to see another "small school story" here vs. CovCath. I've seen them end up on the short end of the stick vs. some of the NKY small schools in recent years, but those teams all played quality, big-school schedules; and didn't build their reps beating up on vastly inferior opponents ala Elliott County. I think their shots will be challenged, the passing lanes smaller and pressure more binding vs. CCH.

I don't agree. Elliott will play this game as they play every game. All out, all game. This one will be close. Elliott will show up and play, that's just what they do.

Believe it or not, Elliott hasn't cornered the market on playing hard or "all out"?? CCH can bring it as well, and often has to do it every night, as they not only play a quality schedule; but are often their opponents "game of the month"!! That's just what they do!!

I guess Elliott County and it's little weak schedule really doesn't belong on the floor with the great Northern Kentucky schools. I'm sure they will show up and try to give CovCath a little competition before they go back to playing "Directional Carters".:mad::fire::fire:

No matter who wins I don't think EC will be held to 55 points. They have lit up the score board all year. I don't have a dog in this fight but what the heck!!! EC 86 CC 79.

EC is indeed the real deal, and I was impressed with their team. The five starters are something to see, and they do play basketball on both sides of the floor which impressed me. Their only problem could be playing so many games in such a short time, against teams that will push them to the limit in the game as the TN team did last night. The EC players looked a bit tired late in the game last night, but they still had a big enough heart to win this game.

 

In saying all that, I look for a very close and good game to watch but I think CovCath will prevail by two or three...... To me at least, I question how fresh the legs of EC will be after playing and getting pushed to the limit last night and only subbing as little as they do.......
