Lewis Co.'s defense was much better tonight. They also shot much better from the field and the FT line. I think Fleming Co. controlled the boards throughout the entire game but didnt shoot real well from the FT line. Very physical game, both teams having players fouling out. J.T. Britt and Terrence Smith had exceptional games for the Lions along with Frankie Witten. I would guess scoring was pretty well spread out for Fleming Co.

I also thought there was a nice presentation for Gary Kidwell and his long-time support to the Lewis Co. program as well as the EKC.

It was a very nice presentation and it was long overdue. Coach Kidwell has been instumental in every sport at LCHS,and most of all he is a great guy.:ylsuper:

Even when "The Boss" played, Coach Kidwell was a class act and still is, when you think of Lewis you think of the Coach. May you enjoy half the joy you have brought everyone else

Also great job by administrators and Lewis County's finest for stepping in and protecting the referrees, no wonder we can't get more quality officials, too bad the assigning secretary left before the end of the game.

Did anyone see what happened in the end? It could have made a difference if it would have been called. With 10 Seconds left to go on the clock and winding down, Fleming down by 2 points. Head Coach for the Panthers was yelling for a time out but never got it. Also an official was standing not any farther then 8 feet away. Panthers had to force up a shot and missed.

 

For Lewis Ccounty, they played very well. I think at the half they made 9 FG and 7 of them were 3's. Very nicely coached also.

Didn't see him trying to get the timeout I was watching the kid with the ball, but did see him pull a Bobby Knight and chase the referee's to the locker room.

The refs had blocked him out because he yelled on every call against him the entire game.
