I’m not big on moral victories, but this is one of them… 14-7 at half and 2 touchdowns scored on a historically great UGA team gives me a lot of hope for the rest of the season.

Any updates on the injured Tomcat?

I’m all for Gruden being let go. He said some stuff he shouldn’t have said. That’s enough evidence for me. I do find it ironic that the NFL has decided to give Dr. Dre, Eminem and Snoop Dogg the honor of preforming at halftime of the Superbowl this year. I’m sure if we comb through their lyrics, we can find much worse than what Gruden said…

Absolutely dominant performance.

I love it. I thought 8 was a good number but I’m fine with 12. I don’t think much will change in terms of what teams win. I can’t really see anything lower than a 6 seed competing with the top 2 or 3 teams, but if you’re in it, you’ve got a chance… This is great for the fans and gives teams who drop a game early in the season a little more to fight for. I’m all for it!

Is it time for Florida to let Dan Mullen go?
MBWC41 replied to Tigerpride94's topic in College Football
If you can get Urban to come back, sure. If You can lure a no brainer home run hire, sure. You don’t fire Mullen for an up and comer. That’s how you get in the shape Texas is in. -
Strange things afoot at Louisville's Evangel School...

A religious tv station is suing a church??? They should get together and pray that God sorts things out instead of our court system. Maybe donate the money they had set aside for lawyers to the needy ? -
What a game…

Johnson Central Head Coach Jim Matney
MBWC41 replied to All State Baseball's topic in KY Football (High School)
Rest In Peace coach… I didn’t know Coach Matney. I played against his teams when he was at Sheldon Clark. He seemed to truly love and embrace the mountain culture along with the kids that came from the area. That alone is enough for me to believe he was a good man. What he built at Johnson Central is absolutely amazing. -
Is Chris Mack similar to Billy Gillispie?
MBWC41 replied to The Flea Market's topic in College Basketball
Mack has to deal with the black cloud of the NCAA hanging over his head. Billy G. inherited a program that had let expectations slip. I don’t see many similarities… Both needed/need to win. Neither fan base is going to tolerate losing although I’m not sure UL has many coaching options given their current situation. I doubt any high level coaches would seriously consider UL right now. Most people will look the other way when it comes to minor infractions and accept character flaws as long as winning comes along with it. -
UK opens as an 8 point underdog in Vegas.
-
Florida has a great team. I don’t think they are as good as the score against Bama would have many believe, but still a great team. UK seems like the most unimpressive 4-0 team in the country. UF 27 UK 10 If UK continues to be careless with the ball, it will get ugly quick.

Stress of the job and I’d imagine most of them feel untouchable in their home states.
-
It’s almost like they’re more concerned with future lawsuits than player safety😂
-
I understand, and agree with the spirit of the rule. I just don’t see how you play defense in this era of football.
-
Start ejecting running backs for lowering their heads and I’ll take the safety aspect of the rule more serious.
-
Watching the Penn State/ Auburn game… A kid got ejected for what was, by rule, targeting. If this is what we want the game to be, then go ahead and put flags on them. There was nothing malicious about that hit. I’d hate to be a defender in today’s game. Look at the play instead of focusing only on two players helmets meeting.
-
I don’t feel good about Lively moving his decision date up. I think we end up with Bona. Hope I’m wrong because the kid is a stud. I’d selfishly love to have both.
-
Flip a coin…. It varies week to week. There is no consistency when it comes to targeting calls and it drives me nuts. I understand the reasoning for the rule and agree with it being part of the game. They’ve taken a rule that was intended to protect the players and turned it into something that makes the game worse.

This is honestly one of my favorite aspects of the NIL era. If someone is willing to donate their money, they should have every right to have a say in where it goes.
-
I didn’t get to watch the entire game but I believe Oregon scored their first three touchdowns on basically the same play. How can he be comfortable with that?
-
A penalty is exactly what they needed. No way they were stopping them on 3rd and 7.
-
They cut it to seven but it still doesn’t seem close. Oregon has absolutely dominated the Ohio State defense. I’d like to see them get a stop. It’s been an entertaining game.
