Mel Tucker’s name will come up. I suspect Stoops gets mentioned. Luke Fickell, Lane Kiffin, maybe Billy Napier. A ton of high level assistants. Good job with access to tons of talent, but high expectations and not a ton of patience. Last three head coaches have won national championships there. 

I'm sure Luke Fickell's name will be brought up but let's just get it out of the way now that there is ZERO chance he leaves Cincinnati for Baton Rouge.

Random thoughts...

Unbelievable that they are moving on from Coach O, IMO.

The injuries on that team, especially on defense have been devastating. 

No coach will appreciate what it means to be a Ti-gah like Coach O.

Next Coach there will probably do great, which will make everyone think that this was a great decision. 

I think LSU's biggest issue was replacing the coordinators lost the past couple of years.

Good luck to Coach O and his $17,000,000 buyout. 

Saban isn't going to coach forever and when he retires LSU has as good a chance of taking over the SEC as anyone. So it does make sense to start getting things in place to be ready to pounce when the GOAT retires.
