I’ve been an advocate for UC to be in the playoffs for a year or two. I’m glad they got in… A few posters have made me change my rooting interest… I hope Bama hangs 70 on the bearcats.

If Cal hadn’t cancelled on Texas last year they would have added another loss to a historically bad season…. UL has Covid issues. It is what it is. It has nothing to do with Mack. If you don’t have the numbers, you can’t play.

I understand that. Can they get a coach willing to take on that mess though ? Like I said earlier, this isn’t the UL of old. They’re very similar to UK at the end of Tubby/Billy G. The brand has diminished just as the Kentucky brand had. Add in the fact that possible penalties are coming and it makes for a tough sell. No matter what you think of him now, Cal was able to amp up the status of UK immediately. We saw instant results. If UL can hire that type of guy, they’d be fools not to. When UK let Gillispie go, fans were going nuts over Travis Ford. He may have been able to do great things at UK but it was going to take time. I’d have a hard time letting Mack go for a Travis Ford type. Get past the possible penalties and hire a guy who is worth coaching at UL.

I know very little about The UL financial situation. I just understand they aren’t exactly flush with cash right now. I have a hard time believing they can lure a top notch coach in their current situation. For the record, if he misses the tournament, I think he’s gone also.

In defense of Mack, it’s got to be tough to recruit ACC level talent when the program has been under investigation for what seems like nearly a decade.

I’m just happy a game was played. Lots of folks in Vegas this weekend didn’t get a chance to see their team play.

Wow! I thought UK would bounce back and get a win. Didn’t think they’d win by nearly 30 and almost hit the century mark though!

As far as the game goes, it was over when Williams was ruled out. He’s a great ball player.

Isn’t UL in a tough spot financially right now ? Can they afford to pay Mack’s buyout and offer a new coach a competitive salary ? Also, would anyone decent coach be willing to accept the job ? UL is a top ten program but this isn’t the old UL. They’ve had zero stability for the past several years.I have a hard time seeing many top notch coaches even entertaining the idea with more possible NCAA sanction on the way. It’s just not a very appealing job right now. Maybe they could get someone with ties to the program to weather the storm for the next few seasons with the understanding that it wasn’t a permanent position. I’ll say the same thing I said when Billy G. was about to be let go… You better have a home run hire lined up. A lateral move makes no sense.

He had the concrete pad poured and they had the building up in 2 days. Hope that helps.

A guy I work with just had a 30x40x12 foot building with 3 garage doors put up for roughly $25000.

I’m sure there are tons of companies in the area. A good place to start would be Craigslist. Search for metal buildings or pole barns and you’ll probably find multiple businesses that do them.

Where are you located ? If you’re not opposed to a metal building, there are numerous companies in my area that sell and put them up. All you would need to figure is the cost of the concrete pad. I’m sure there are some in your area also.

Off topic but wouldn’t it be wild if UK and UL went back to back in volleyball championships ? To my knowledge neither of them have had traditionally great programs. I know nothing about volleyball though.

I was shocked. Not so much that Georgia lost, more so that they gave up 41 points.

I took Georgia at -6.5. They’re the better team and this years Bama squad ain’t the Bama team we’re used to. They’ve underwhelmed all season. Hopefully they show it and win by 10 or so.

If he thinks the gun magically fired itself then he’s to damn dumb to own a BB gun…

The fact that real guns are still used in major productions is the most shocking part of all this to me. I honestly though the guns used in movies were 3d printed or machined in some other way.
