Another classic in a series full of them. Rose made throws and Patrick had a big game with well over a hundred yards receiving. O-line had one of its best games of the year. Aside from some flare ups of poor tackling, the defense played really well. Clutch kick at the end. Well done, Devils.

Gotta turn the page quickly and get ready for a good East Carter club.

The back judge literally took the game into his own hands with about 2 minutes to go in this one. Congratulations to Russell on the win.

Not really. Ashland is not last year's Ashland and this is a big rivalry game. Very evenly matched this year.

There was a questionable call on a  pi on Russell as well. Russell won this game fair and square.

Never said they didn’t and I congratulated Russell, but there’s no doubt he totally took control of the game. It would have been 4th and 8 for Russell on their own 41, and after his two flags it was 1st and 10 on Ashland’s 29.

One flag was a unsportsmanlike that wasn’t even the refs fault. That was all on Ashland.

I know what the call was, and it was the back judge who threw the flag for unsportsmanlike. You make a very controversial call you have to expect a little heat from the sidelines and give a little more leeway. The last thing you want to do is totally take the game out of the players hands.

It’s a huge rivalry in general not just because they’re in the same District.
