Five team districts in Louisville region would be tough to play each other twice if you want to play everyone in the region. Would limit your scheduling playing 8 district games.

Should blame himself for the loss. They were up 5 late in this game around a minute to play and had a three on one run out and he called a timeout. Fairdale also runs a lot of high post sets that he ran when he played at UofL and Doss couldn't stop. Fairdale scored on the UCLA cut and step in three times in a row down the stretch. Good week for Fairdale. Lost the night before in double OT at Bullitt East which they should have won. Ike Roby who transferred from Beth Haven is starting to understand the system and has been as good as any one in the region over the last eight games averaging 19.7 and 9.7 rebounds

Saw both teams in the KOB this year. Cooper was a last second shot and missed free throw from beating Trinity in the first round. Trinity obviously went on to win it. Being from Louisville I would make the trip to see these two teams play again. "You scared, you shaken, You aint gonna make it."

I saw him only play in LIT vs Bullitt East and came away very unimpressed. Don't like to be negative about kids on here, But I keep hearing he has all these D-1 visits and offers and I just don't see it. Maybe it was an off game. He is athletic but from what I saw wasn't much of a threat. Bullitt East basically backed off of him and let him shoot from the outside. When you talk of the top players in the 6th his name is not coming up as it did in past.

JCPS now has seven head coaching jobs to fill. Seems to be a lot of turnover with football in Louisville. Coach Scroggins resigned due to pay, Class schedule, and wanting to watch his kids play in HS. What does JCPS need to do to keep coaches?

I've been their multiple times and they have all that in the concession stands. Last year they sold small items cokes in the upper part that helped some. There has been more parking added in the back. I also disagree about it not being a shooters gym. This gym is lit very well. A lot of gyms in Jefferson Co. are dark. Cant argue the distance because its not centrally located but its right off the Snyder freeway so its pretty easy to get to. JCPS has listened to most complaints and has tried to address them each year. Should be a great tournament as always.

Only for the boys LIT tournament. I don't think they even have one for the Girls. They still do it the old way using lit ratings and have out of county teams.

All of those will create the same arguments. Has all the media seen all the Louisville schools play? If not then You would have Jason Frakes basically picking the team. I think Trinity is #1 but can argue Fern Creek. They are 1-1 in head to head. Both games were close and went down to the end. Now that coaches know how the rankings are done, you could argue that they could base their schedules on it.

What state ranking are you going to use? I haven't seen one that ranks all the Louisville schools. Coaches in Louisville like the SETH ranking better than the lit rating. The complaints is how to rate out of state wins and how you start in the rankings. Trinity automatically will be an A team next year.

Also Trinity did not get much from winning vs out of state teams. Last year teams got no points for playing out of state teams. They changed it this year to where I believe you got an equivalent of a win over a "C" level team. The argument is there is no real way to rate out of state teams. Fern Creek probably got more points for their three wins in the KOB vs "A" level teams than Trinity did. Like was mentioned before, ADs are given weekly SETH rankings that show the movement based on wins and losses. There is no real way to do this unless you get a selection committee and you will still have the same arguments. Past LIT using the lit ratings had the same arguments. At least with the SETH ranking the teams know where they stand when the season starts.

However, given the fact that the two coaches were teammates at UofL and it was a big 6th region game at home Valley should have been fired up. Big win for East at PRP. Coach Mabrey doesn't lose many at home. This is the first time they have agreed to play each other in the regular season. Cant figure PRP out. I have heard they have some injuries.
