  1. wow..Dunhoft is on BGP. What's up John.. Chad Molly would do a fine job at the big LLOYD. I would love to help with the offense, but I have relocated to the mountains. Tell Molly I said hey, and tell the boys at the Dixie Club I said hey as well. I'll let you see if you can figure out who I am before I give it away. see ya
  2. I appreciate the info..I am located in the Estill Co area
  3. Where does everyone get their baseball equipment..such as hats, pullover's/jackets, and uniforms. I am in dire need of a good trustworthy company to take care of some baseball business.
  4. There is no doubt that Leslie County has the best basketball team in the 14th region. I know they lost to PCC, but that was early in the season. I can assure you that won't happen again. Leslie County is tough! All of the Lee County fans should be glad they won't have to face the eagles rath during the regular season because Leslie would easily handle them.
  5. Buckhorn has a stud on their hands in the "Gay" kid. He is tough, and is only a sophmore. I hear he lives in Owsley County. Boy he would sure help Owsley out especially when they get the Smith kid back. Owsley Co would instantly become "dangerous"! Buckhorn seems to be a pretty good team, and I like to see any small school do well.
  6. I would like to see Lee County come away with a victory. This would be great for their confidence during the rest of the season. It would also stir things up enough that the 14th region would be up for grabs...no longer dominated by PCC. In this game I say go Bobcats
  7. I see the 14th region being very even in talent this year. There are a few stand out players, but for the most part the teams are very competitive with one another. I'll say this....most of them are exciting to watch..and you know as I do..people in Eastern KY love basketball...this is true for 14th region fans as well
  8. It is extremely hard to find people who are interested enough in helping the High Schools out by becoming officials. They are not paid enough for their services, but most of them would do it for the love of the game. That's what I would like to see happen...more people becoming involved in the love of Sports! I agree with the guru on this one, we do not need to bash on any officials, since they are actually helping out these schools by getting involved.
  9. I have a feeling that this game will not be a good thing for Beechwood's players. They will be outpayed and basically beat real bad. I like the fact that the coaches/AD scheduled this game for them.(that was big) It will be an eye opener for Beechwood
  10. Can anyone tell me why Robert Smith left Clay County to go back to Owsley County? He is a very good ball player, but I have never been told why he left.
  11. Does anyone know if "Peanut" LeMaster is still coaching at Pikeville College?
  12. I think Owsley will surprise some folks this year. They have some talent there and have a new coach helping them. Lee County will always be strong as long as they have Gene Combs. I hear that Owsley's coach played for Gene Combs in College, and even helped at Lee County for awhile. They are strong up the middle, and a lot of seniors.
  13. I just wonder why nothing was ever said about the big Riley boy going back to Buckhorn, after playing a full season at Owsley Co. But Robert Smith was made to sit out games when he basically did the same thing.(playing for Clay Co, then going back to Owsley) Anybody have any insight on this BIG indifference??
  14. I just hope someone is taking care of these kids arms. I have seen a lot of young kids destroy their arms while they were young. Usually these pitchers are the better athletes, and as soon as they pitch, the next game they will be playing Shortstop. This is horrible for their arms....
  15. Is the fench still extremely short? That was a home run derby fest back in the day.
  16. How can I get more info on the UK winter camp?
  17. Bob is a great coach. He knows the game of baseball. I just wish he wouldn't have mad us run so much. ha ha we thought we were trying out for cross country not baseball
  18. Keep it up Lee County, your team looks very strong.
  19. Lee County really impressed a lot of people when they "put it to" Owsley on their home court. They have some big boys and the Brandenburg kid can handle the rock.
  20. Is Bob Myerhoff still the coach at Beechwood?
  21. There is a pretty impressive pitcher in Owsley County. His name is Robert Smith. Owsley Co will not get a lot of College scout coverage, but this boy can throw the ball. He is also extremely "smooth" in the field. I feel he is a good Division 1 prospect.
