Diamond Dandy Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 1- Ryle - 20 - 1 (2 years ago against the competition they will play this year) 2-Cov Cath - They lost a lot of pitching and some big bats but Coach K always gets the most from his tallent. 3-Beechwood- Curley can't pitch every game. 4-Holy Cross- returning a lot of tallent. 5-Conner- returning more seasoned pitching then anyone. 6-St Henry- Walt will bring this team up a notch. 7- Simon Kenton - they will hve a decent pitching rotation as well. 8-Scott - good team, lost some key players. 9-Highlands- new coach, new opportunities. 10-Newport Cath- lost a few key players

Also Conner will be rank 4th and Beechwood will be ranked 1st. So im going to say it will look like this. 1) Beechwood 2) Cov. Cath 3) Ryle 4) Conner 5) Scott 6) S.K 7) H.C 8) Boone 9) NCC 10) St. Henry
bigstick23 Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Scott or S.K won't be in the ranking unless this is just for NKY because they are in new regions.
Diamond Dandy Posted January 1, 2006 Author Posted January 1, 2006 Sorry....the thread should have read STANDINGS THAT THE POST WILL COVER..even though SK and Scott are moving....be intresting to see this thread in June.
sixtyfeetsix Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Is Bob Myerhoff still the coach at Beechwood?
Diamond Dandy Posted January 1, 2006 Author Posted January 1, 2006 Is Bob Myerhoff still the coach at Beechwood? Yep....thats why I got them 3rd even though they lost a lot of tallent
sixtyfeetsix Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Bob is a great coach. He knows the game of baseball. I just wish he wouldn't have mad us run so much. ha ha we thought we were trying out for cross country not baseball
bigstick23 Posted January 4, 2006 Posted January 4, 2006 St. Henry i feel is over rated. Just like every year. Until they prove something i am not buying.
QB42 Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Where are the BIG schools from Louisville? Ony HC made the list above!!!
BDFALCON Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Where are the BIG schools from Louisville? Ony HC made the list above!!! I believe they are talking about NKY Schools and that would be Covington Holy Cross.
QB42 Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Thanks Falcon. I must have missed the NKY in the heading!!
Knuckleball Posted January 11, 2006 Posted January 11, 2006 Scott only lost 3 starters last year, but they are replacing them with even better players. I think they should be ranked 4th behind Ryle, CovCath, and Beechwood.

I think they should be ranked 4th behind Ryle, CovCath, and Beechwood. Don't think they will be able to get much of a better SS than rigeler. With that said it will be a much expierenced group and will have on of the best staffs in the area. They will be dangerous 1-9 and will be a team to watch out for. I agree with being ranked 4th.

I think they should be ranked 4th behind Ryle, CovCath, and Beechwood. Those were KEY players that they lost. Moving to the 10th this year they will be ranked high....but they will see some good competition in Harrison Co, Campbell Co and Brossart. They will probably play them each twice and you know they will see their one or two pitchers...thats a potential 6 losses...not that they will loose all six..but they will be good ballgames...thats why I think they will finish 8th in northern kentucky. I wish them luck, they have a great coach and I know a few of their kids and they are great kids.

Secondly, they beat Brossart and Campbell Co. both farily easly lost year. That and they have 2 of the best classes in the area this year and next. I strongly disagree.
