Tyler Mains has been dressing on the Varsity since he was in the 8th grade. He started JV that year and helped win a JV district title. The next year he then started Varsity as a freshman and has been starting ever since. He as always played Point Guard and always will play Point Guard. Mains' Accomplishments: One JV district title Two 38th district titles One 10th region title 1000 points Not to shabby

Coach Forrest(Oldham County) will definitely has his team ready for the Tourney!

Bishop Brossart has won four consecutive JV district titles. The last time they didn't win the the JV district title was in 2002 when Pendleton County beat Campbell County in the finals. Pendleton County, who had Mason O'Hara, Joey Verax, Tyler Mains and Keaton Belcher in their lineup, beat Bishop Brossart in the first round that year. Congrats to the Mustangs on the 4-peat!

The earliest he could come back is in 2 weeks. Or it could be for the rest of the season. Its still a low blow for the cats.

Coach Kendall will probably try to slow the game down tremendously. PC has had success in low scoring games before. It should be a great game!

Tyler Mains, of Pendleton County, is easily one of the top 100 seniors in the state of KY. He's not even on the list.

Congrats on winning the All "A." Bardstown must have really improved since the 2003-2004 season. I saw them play in a scrimmage that year and they lost by like 30 points to an average team. Once again, Great Tourney!!

I played AAU in those gyms (late 90's early 00's) and we had no benches.

The old Simon Kenton and Dixie Heights gyms. The players had no benches so they had to sit up on the concrete steps with the fans. To get to the floor you literally had to climb down the stairs.

Yes, very small gym. No bleachers or anything. Just the side with the carpet steps, the side with the stage and the balcony to watch a game from. It is still used today for pickup games and some intramural games.

This doesn't make sense.

Obviously the Lexington(11) and Louisville Regions(6 and 7) are always tough. This year I would say those three are the toughest. The 15th is the worst.

January 18, 2005 Bishop Brossart 43 at Top 10 Pendleton County 45 I will never forget this one: The gym was completely packed with fans and neither team took the lead by more than 5-6 the whole game. Bishop Brossart had it in there hands at the end, but lost on a Jon Elrod baseline jumper as the buzzer went off. The PC student section and other fans stormed the court. A great HS basketball game.
