Elliott did the same thing they do every game, score points and win. I would hope their competition gets better. They could use a close game. I don't think they are going to get much in the region.

Sounds like Rose Hill did what it took to win. I am proud of the boys for bouncing back from a hard loss to Bath. I wish I could have made the trip, but...... I looked at Oldham Co.'s record, it is pretty good. I only found that Oldham had one link to this region. They beat Spencer Co. who beat another local school. I know that means nothing, but I have seen some people use links like this to prove other teams inferiority. Play hard Royals, I'll pray for your safe return home.

It has been a busy day and I have just gotten time to post. I did look at this thread earlier and see a lot of people are taking pleasure in Rose Hill’s loss. Like I said earlier, Bath Co. played a very good game. Rose Hill played poorly. I do know they were ranked in the top 25 in the state by some central KY paper. I said it then and I’ll say it now. That was probably too high. I also said before Elliott Co. is no doubt the class of the region. I can’t wait to see how they play when they are challenged. Rose Hill is a team searching for the right combination. They have a lot of athletes, when they find it they will be fine. I remember last season Ashland started slow, but improved at the end, when it counted. As for Michael Fuller he didn’t play in the tournament. I don’t know his status with the team. But a strong body like his couldn’t have hurt. Go ahead pile on the criticism on The Hill. They have been through a lot worse.

Congratulations to Bath Co. They just flat out played better than Rose Hill. Rose Hill couldn't hit the Ohio River from the middle of the Ironton Bridge. It happens. This was a very nice tournament, each year it gets better.

Good crowd tonight at Rose Hill. Winners were Horizon Science, Greenup Co., Bath Co., and Rose Hill. Good night for the 16th. Rose Hill and Bath play in finals at 9:00 tomarrow. So far the games have been very competitive, with exception of RH's first game. It has been a good time.

The proceeds go to the David Garnes Memorial Scholarship Fund. There was a very good crowd, I'd like to see more. Village Academy got beat by RH tonight. They will play Greenup Co. tomarrow. It should be a very good game. Somerset PA. will play Bath Co. at 6:00 and Rose Hill will play Falicity Franklin at 7:30.

When was the 16th region tournament. I would have liked to see it.

If the refs let them play this team would have trouble with Elliott.

This game was tied until about half way into the third. Rose Hill just seamed to run out of gas. Henry Clay is a very good team. They will give fits to any team from this region. As far as I could tell they only played seniors and they are very athletic. Moses is a load and can score from outside as well as inside. Rose Hill got some very good play from Quackenbush. He is turning into a player.

Chad had two nice dunks. A break away dunk on a steal and the put back of a missed shot. Tony Arthur and Alex Malloy played great defense. Michael Fuller is finding his range again. Nice game for the Royals.

I never said I thought BC would take cheep shots or do anything outside of play a physical type of basketball. I enjoy this type of game. I just hope neither team, or fans, lose their cool. I don't want anyone to get hurt.

I think this will be a physical game. This may be the only way to slow down Elliot Co. I hope cool head prevail and nobody gets hurt.

The finish was pretty good, but I was more impressed in how he got out of the trap by splitting the defenders. Nice play.

I think people are thinking with their heart and not their head.

I would have probably put East and Boyd in front of RH.

Are you making fun of a 15 year old kid for these stats. If so you are showing your lack of knowledge of his playing ability or the way the game is played in general.

Yeah, I was going to ask if anyone else thought the technical was kind of quick. Especially since the ref blew the origional call.

I don't think you are giving credit where it is due. Tony had Hall shooting awkwardly at the beginning of the game. Hall missed a lot of shots early. He went out of the game due to foul trouble and Camron scored allmost at will. I thought Camron Hall played a very good defensive game also.

The score could have been higher, but neither team wanted to push the tempo. I thought Tony Arthur did a good job on Hall early, but got into foul trouble. Tony is a defensive player, no surprise he didn't score, but he did contribute. He fouled out of the game midway into the 4th. Hall picked up MOST of his points with other people guarding him. Davis rebounded well and put in a couple of nice feeds from Euton. The "supporting cast" missed a lot of layups and easy shots. They will come around. Hall was very good but Collins was the man for the Eagles last night. I don't think Elliot Co. had anything to worry about. No matter the outcome of the game they would have still been considered #1. The 64th is going to be tough.

Who is Williams? I don't remember him from last years team.

I thought Greenup looked pretty good in the first half, but they kind of ran out of gas during the 3rd quarter. I agree Williams looked like he has some talent.

Not really that good, but I was talking about the team play of Rose Hill. Sheldon Clark would be in the lower 3rd of the 16th.

With all the talk about Rose Hill only having two players, I am wondering what everybody thought about their performance at Sheldon Clark. Nine or ten players played and contributed. Euton not only got his points he also got the rest of the team involved. Chad played on another level then anyone else on the floor. These kids have also been playing together for a while and they can play.
