The Ashland student section is obnoxious and has no respect for the apposing team. They are pretty good.

I'd like to see more talk about the game. For the third game in a row RH got outplayed by a team they should have beat. I think they are just in a slump and will play out of it.

I may be out of line, but I have to say this before this thread gets shut down, I don't like this post. As Christians we should not keep score of our generosity. Also words of sympathy during a tragic time do help.

Not to cause trouble, but when you criticize someone about where they went to school, you shouldn't end your sentence with a preposition. About the team, you make a good point. It is appaerent how important Kala was to the team last year, and not only for her abilities on the court. The seniors need to be leaders, support the coach, encourage the younger players, and take some pride in their TEAM and school. They can still be a great team.

Great win for Elliot Co. I hope to get to Richmond to watch them win the All A.

Rose Hill played allmost the entire first half with Chad Jackson on the bench with foul problems. They never overcame. Oak Hill played very well on defense and hit some key 3's. In reference to Tubby. As of today I am a fan. He is a class guy.

Congrats to Bath Co. I've watched them a few times this year. They don't quit.

Coldiron stunk. That was pointed out to me by more than one Ashland fan. But that didn't cause RH the game.

Ashland shot well when they needed to, and Rose Hill shot poorly. Nothing else. Good win for Ashland. Wilcox continues to impress me. Was that Buddy Biggs in front of the Ashland bench with the maroon sports coat or did I find Waldo.

Sportsfan said it was him who went to the court. He also confirmed my statement by saying, "I guess emotion's get high especially when a person's own kid or team is getting hammered!!!!" He made a response in regard to a Rose Hill coach which is also very true and I also don't support. In a way I kind of understand the response of Sportsfan. The ref's need to get some control.

How do kids in public school get to school if they don't have a ride?

Good win for Elliot Co. Good luck in the All-A. A fan running to the edge of the floor yelling after Ferguson gets fouled is not unusual. I've seen it more than once.

The intentional foul call at about 1 minute left in the game had a dramatic effect on the outcome. Raceland got two free throws and then the ball back and scored. I have seen a lot of basketball games, the manner of Terry's foul was consistent with every late game foul I have seen to stop the clock and send the other team to the foul line. It was not an aggressive foul. Tommy Sparks is the worst official in the state. Don't get onto me I have told him that to his face.

If Johnson is any kind of coach, and I think he is, he would have prepared his team for Rose Hill with Jackson. Does the loss of Jackson, if he is not playing, hurt Raceland or help them? Do they now play differently than they have practiced?

I saw the paper where the Bath Co. called him Dirk. He was refering to Dirk Nawinski, sp?. I guess he didn't know calling someone that at RH are fighting words.

Tony Arthur played a very good game last night. Bath Co. has some talent.

I have seen both Maynard and Knipp play. I am very impressed with Maynard. Knipp works hard. I might be wrong, but hasn't Knipp been playing with the other starters longer than Maynard?

I believe RH's size advantage will win out.

It comes down to two teams IMO. Rose Hill and Elliot Co. As a fan I feel RH will win, but Elliot will be tough. Both will represent 16th well.

There were three very good and fair referees working this game. I am sure they had as good a view if not better view than you from the stands. And as Fastbreak said their call was confirmed by video. Maybe your view was couded.
