  1. Elily had a great game. She is not only the leading scorer and rebounder in the 16th, she is the toughest player, boys or girls, to have ever played in this region. (My opinion) Congrats to East Carter on a very good game. It looked like they just ran out of gas at the end.
  2. You are right I think. Last year the rep was from Ashland though. Whoever the guy from the 15th is should step up. You may know more about the politics of the decision, I just think somebody should step up.
  3. No leadership within the 16th. You saw it last year at the girls state tourney. All the other regions were represented by a board member except the 16th.
  4. Without Vanhoose, Russell is an average team. Elliott goes to Rupp.
  5. Great photos of Kayla, that was the play of the game.
  6. People who think Fuller was intimidated don't know Michael Fuller. He had an off night. So did Bush, Malloy, and Arthur. I think the lay off hurt the Hill more than anything. Stringer is right, it is just one loss. Unfortunately for the 64th it will be one of just a few over the next several years.
  7. Congratulations to Coach Pratt for keeping his players in the game. He is a very good man and he deserves the win. The answer to Mr. Wrong's question is, they were outscored.
  8. We know that isn't true. Kentucky doesn't recruit from within the state.
  9. I didn't know Boyd beat Flemming Co. That still doesn't change my mind. Rose Hill by eight.
  10. I believe you are right, but what is it about him do you like? I know he is well known and he said the right things after 9-11. I would just like to know why I as a republican should get behind him as others have. Maybe I'm just too conservative to vote for him.
  11. I heard the Ashland's AD was purposing a rule change to the KHSAA that would all but block this kid's ability to cheer for CC.
  12. Outside of being a canidate that could win, what do Republicans see in Rudi? I'm not trying to cause an arguement, I just would like to know.
  13. I think everybody needs to back off of Onetoya, he makes a good point. Even if it is hard to swallow, Ashland has the greatest tradition of winning since the beginning of keeping stats. The national championship speaks for itself. Each year the regional championship should be decided by all teams playing for the right to face Ashland in the final. Of course the Tomcats will represent the 16th in Lexington no matter the outcome of this game. This would insure the 16th of a chance each year. The rest of us need to be happy that Ashland will allow us to be on the same court with them.
  14. I think everybody has forgot about the tradition of the Ashland student section dating back to the early 20th century. Also I think they have won a national title, therefore they are clearly the best.
  15. Fraley has had a very good season. I would vote for him. But if you use the philosophy of Dawgdays, I think Coach Johnson at Bath Co. can't be overlooked. He has done a fine job.
  16. Oh great RickyP, I'll never get to sleep with that image in my head.
  17. Good win for Pam and the girls. You got to hand it to GC, they came in with a pretty good game plan. It looked like they just ran out of gas. Good luck at Belfry. More luck on the bus ride to and from.
  18. Congratulations Emily. You are a fine example of what hard work and dedication can do for a young person.
  19. If you are going to quote me, please get it right. What I said was they have a combination of size and skill, I also provided a link to some statistics that I used to reach my conclusion. Thirdly I stated that many college coaches, who also I guess only have an opinion, are interested in them. Now I'll admit my beliefs are based on my analysis of this information and I am somewhate bias to RH. But at least I did state facts. I have yet to see a logical rebutal, therefore I can only conclude, I am debating with a child. That is why I will bow out at this timel.
  20. Here is the link to back my statement about statistics. http://www.khsaa.org/basketball/regularseason/2007/statsbit.htm
  21. I'm afraid you brought all this up by your, "Wow. Has this guy seen any other 16th region team play this year?" comment. I provided reason why I feel the way I do. Like it or not, that is my reason. You on the other hand provide no basis for your opinion.
