I know it doesn't sound right, but I believe that the first game is not on t.v. although a Lexington team is playing in it. I think that the game started at 6:00.

My understanding is that the Somerset/Franklin Co. game is the only game being covered tonight out of Lexington. It comes on after the Mercer Co./LCU game on UPN.

East Jessamine dominated this game on both sides of the ball. Pulaski's D looked lost with there coverage all night.

At this point I don't know who should be favored. Somerset has had two questionable scrimmages so far. Our seniors need to step up and be leaders on the field.

Any info. if A.T. Hunter will be released to play this Saturday?

As will Jones, Hughes, Moore, Cole, and Co. will be ready for Franklin Co.

Anyone have any information on the scrimmage?

McCreary Central is 3A but don't play in a district. I think they dropped district play 3-4 years ago. Doesn't seem fair to me for the kids, what does this tell the kids who work hard everyday in practice?

Lynn Camp has nice uniforms. I also like Danville's.

I think that Boyd scrimmages Somerset this Friday night so we should here something from the Somerset faithful.

(long time rival) 8. Danville (very old rival, heard stories of the anchor being purple and gold) 9. Rockcastle Co. (close game with nice gate) 10. Green Co. (feel like we owe them one)

I wish that I could have went! I thought that after this scrimmage I would have a little better understanding on how the Jumpers are going to look this season but not with these mixed reviews. What impressed you with the Jumpers? Why should Danville be concerned, Somerset didn't even score (granted John Cole didn't play)? I do understand that scrimmages are for to show areas of concern and to give people gametime reps to get ready for the season.

Nice review, I would bet that Mercer Co. will be a huge contender by seasons end. Do you have any more specifics on the Jumpers.

What format was the scrimmage played? I would expect both teams to work very hard next week on some weaknesses that may have shown up tonight. Thats what scrimmages are for, to prep your team for the upcoming season.

Now I know as a fine young student athlete you wouldnt want to speed, especially in a police cruiser. You do know that we dont have to win anything to put (blank) in the back seat.

My prayers are with the Evarts school and community. Dustin was a household name for us Jumper fans as a great athlete who represented district 7 the mountains well.

For all of the Mercer Co. faithfull I just wanted to say that I was very impressed with the new indoor practice facility. I think it was WKYT that showcased it yesterday on the news. A very classy facility, whomever did the painting on the turf did a great job...
