Southwestern 24 Dunbar 7(scrimmage)

Featured Replies

Three quarters live action(except kicks)... Both teams were a little ragged and they've got a lot to work on the next couple of weeks.. Both teams O lines need to improve.. Dunbar needs to improve their conditioning.. After the first qt. the Warriors were by far the more physical team and really took it to the Bulldogs.. Mike Jones, Ryan Smart, Jordan Walters and Matt Robinson played well for SW and Dunbar's No.33 is the real deal...

What say you Dunbar faithful? I'll have to admit (and I really don't know anything about either team) this surprises me a little.

Congratulations to the Warriors. This score surprises me also.

Dunbar just got beat. Very youthful. Starting 7 Sophomores. Bulldogs will improve. #33 Jerrell Greene 6-1 195lb. Soph. played fairly well. He is a Tailback. Bulldogs drove ball inside 10 yd. line twice and did not score. Playing good competition only makes you better, in the long run.

The MB vs. Dunbar game will be interesting!!!

The Bulldogs have a long way to go and a short time to get there before Aug. 18. They have to keep improving everyday.

Congratulations Warriors!!! I hope you win all but 1 game this year!!!!

Sincerely,

Wasn't Dunbar getting rave reviews from certain people, not long ago.

Yeah I know!!:D:laugh:

It is too early to be getting rave reviews.

This doesn't suprise me at all. PLD is very young as I stated before, but very talented. By mid-season, their true colors will show. Starting seven soph. can be a challenge for anyone matched up against PSW these days. PLD, for the time being, is very young and very raw varsity-wise. Take nothing from SW, they have a good and progressing program. Not to forget the tremendous coaching staff they have down their too. In previous playoff games, SW has given PLD outstanding challenges, only to come up short. Congrads to both teams. SW got a little BGP cred. while PLD got a chance to not only test their youth against a very good team, but find their kinks and tune-up before opening kick-off. It's too early to knock-em. Mark that down.

You are most definatly right. But, correct me if I am wrong but isn't PSW in 3A?

Dunbar was good at stopping run.. They got a couple of good D lineman and good LB.. Teams will have to throw the ball to beat them... Southwestern was in 4A for a couple of years before the last alignment.....
