  1. Great call. He had been saying that he really liked it there. Great to hear and look forward to seeing him play.
  2. Here's the answer to whether or not Krumps had some ulterior motive: NO WAY. In the end, I don't think this will have an effect. One team is still going to have to beat the other to win the district, bottom line.
  3. Who and how was it illegal?
  4. I'm about 99% sure that Houlehan will be on the hill for the Colonels.
  5. I believe they are. I want to say they played UC or UofL this year.
  6. Duran was down here with some other recruits for the spring game.
  7. To answer this...From the first hand accounts I've heard, Schrand has let into the team at halftime on multiple occasions if he's not happy with their play. I think he knows where to draw the line, which is a good thing.
  8. To answer my question from the other thread: it seems as if Oak Hill does have some standards they follow. Good for them.
  9. The seniors-to-be are not too happy with this move. Schrand has always been a favorite of all the players and I know that some players would've left the program if it wasn't for him. He's a great guy but definitely look forward to what is in store for KL. Hopefully it all works out for all parties.
  10. IUSE is somehow affiliated with IU. I'd like to see Timmy play at Transy. Coach Brian Lane has a solid program going there...along with a nice facility.
  11. So there was a kid deciding between play at Union College and University of Cincinnati?
  12. I don't know if Schrand ever had desire to be the head coach but I do know that he and Coach L have very contrasting styles. I'm a big Schrand fan, great guy. Also glad to see K. Listerman back at CCH.
  13. I understand that but I just kinda have a problem with them just taking him even after whatever it is that happened at NCH. They're gonna get the best talent regardless. Might as well hold themselves to some standards while they're at it.
  14. Does Oak Hill not worry about personality problems? Wouldn't it look bad that they're taking a kid that just got suspended for 180 days? Regardless of his talent...you gotta have some standards.
  15. I totally agree, I'd just say don't expect it.
  16. With the committee they had hire Rodenberg, they won't ask Coach Ray to return. Everyone on that committee was listening to everyone who said that "his time was up", "he doesn't have it in him anymore", and "hire someone outside the program".
  17. I think applying at another school equals looking for a job and I know for a fact that he's applied at at least one other place. And I love the way that people talk up his offense so much, yet he bailed out in the playoffs a round before Coach Ray did in his final year (when he and Hobbs were under the most fire).
  18. I totally understand that quickslick, and that's definitely the way to go. I'm just saying that I'm really dissapointed they got a guy that seems to have no intention on staying.
  19. I couldn't agree more. I would get rid of him as soon as I found out he was applying at other places. Did I just agree with a HHS fan? He speaks the truth.
  20. HSSB made another point that I meant to say...Ohio (Rodenberg included) does have a collective attitude that KY football doesn't deserve the time of day. You know, since McNick was such a dominant force to be reckoned with.
  21. No surprise to me. I think it can be attributed to a few things. 1) The lack of solid members on the committe (Clines, Guidugli, Horton) that hired him. In my opinion, the only ones on the list that had true football knowledge were Coach Ray and Doug Ramsey...and I know Rodenberg wasn't Coach Ray's choice. 2) From what I've heard, Rodenberg has a tendency to rub some people the wrong way. That may be totally false, but it's what I've heard and COULD contribute to him wanting out.
  22. I was told that Stacy started for the Colonels but Farrell got the win. Also heard that the Colonels were up 10 at one point and Blazejewski put a double off the wall at a key time.
  23. Ouuuuch! Better hope Krumps doesn't read this...if he even owns a computer.
  24. I'm obviously missing something but what does this have to do with Sevvy's average?
