Tim Tierney had an official visit to Transy on Monday and the way it looks that is where he will end up. All he has to do is officially sign with them. Tim really likes the school and Coach Brian Lane. This gives him a chance to play close to home and also Transy graduates many seniors this season. That gives him a good chance of playing next season. Coach Lane has had great experience in the past with CovCath players (Bain and Finke most recently) and I really think Tim will fit in great at Transy.

 

Congratulations, Tim on a great HS career and great college choice. We all will be looking forward to see you play in the future.

I think it has crossed his mind, but I'm sure he will see how the bball season goes before he makes that decision. That would be tough to do.

Timmy is as classy a young man as I've gotten to know. I wish him all of the best in Lexington -- Bainer leaves big shoes to fill.

Good luck to Teirney.. he and Jacobs were fun to watch in the Regional Tourney... He is a great shooter and fits in well with Brian Lane's scheme.
