Covington Catholic senior forward Danny Noll has committed to Centre College. The Ninth Region tournament MVP follows former CovCath player Matt Nestheide, who is an all-conference guard at the Division III school.

 

Noll averaged 10.7 points and 5.8 rebounds a game and shot 57 percent from the field while leading the Colonels to the Sweet Sixteen. Despite playing part of the season off the CovCath bench, The 6-5 forward opened eyes during the regional tournament, during which he averaged 20 points and seven rebounds per game. He shot 63 percent and made eight of 15 3-point attempts during the three-game stretch.

 

 

 

Note: His PPG is only about 22 pts lower than his ACT score.

I work with Danny over @ GABP where he is a Vendor, the kid has a great attitude and work ethic. Congrats!

I am very impressed. He was lights out in the Tournament..... I am sure his academic qualifications and their prestigious history is what lured him there and why not play ball.

Last I heard was that Transy was a possibility for TT.

Congratulations to Danny Noll. Enjoyed watching him play the few times I had the opportunity and wish him the best at Centre.

Tim is looking at a couple of options. He was recruited by Centre, but he has decided not to attend. Right now he has visited IN Southeast, a D2 NAIA school and Transy. He really has likes both schools. Transy can not offer any money and is extremely expensive. IN Southeast, being D2, can offer financial help and is pretty appealing.
