Al Holland at any school in the 14th is scary if you play in the 14th. Will do an excellent job at Hazard and as for the PCC job, who would want it!! If they fired one of the top coaches in the region over the last 10 years because of a subpar year and disagreement over a player by administration!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Coach Lively would be an asset to any program in the state. Kids relate to him, fans like him and boosters support him. He done a wonderful job with a group of dedicated kids that won only 6 or 7 games last year. Congrats to Kyle and I think it is just a matter of time before he establishes himself as one of eastern Kentucky's best coaches and directs the Pirates at Rupp in March. Keep the faith Brother.

Montgomery is a 4A school in the tenth. How many 4A schools in the tenth? I know GRC but is there anyone else?

Love the mountain teams and am rooting for all 3. At Rupp in March anything can happen on any given day,BUT reality is a factor and JBS just can't match athletically with WC and it will not be a blowout because JBS will slow it down if they have to. In the end the result will be the same 14th goes home early and the father/son admin team that got them there can bask in all their glory. FOR NOW.

I think he played 3 games,96 minutes with 3 fouls for the entire tourney. But yet shot almost 50 free throws???? He must me really good. Give me Hicks anytime.

JBS played extemely well and were allowed to play extremely physical. Stepp picked up his first foul of the regional tourney with 1 minute to go in the first half of the Breathitt game????? My point about officiating is that we play a style all year in the 14th with 14th officials and then force each other to play alternative styles come regional tourney time. This is the poorest group of officials from the 12th I have seen in quite a while. No consistency and ears as big as elephants,(not literally). At least in you get the shaft by 14th officials you can retaliate in ratings the next year. This way you just get the box of rocks. JBS really looked good but a game officiated the way we have played all year and they aren't even playing last night.

You must be joking, The officials didn't blow a 21 point lead in 16 minutes. Breathitt kept pushing looking for the 40 point blowout and it blew up in their face when Powell started hitting everything they threw up. Lose a 21 point lead in 16 minutes of high school basketball without a shot clock and you will lose almost everytime.

Cox is without a doubt the best player on that team. The older Stepp had 20 and I would guess that 12 came from the no foul, excuse me the foul line. I would take Cox and Short over anyone on that team. Both looked really well the other night.
