Powell/PCC played with the high at 28 and wind chill at 10. 1-0 game! Imagine that.

Umpires want respect they should demonstrate respect. Players want respect they should demonstrate respect. Sounds to me like it got out of hand and someone needed to be an adult in the situation. I have seen officials provoke situations with their actions just as players and coaches provoke them. Experienced official would have walked and talked to coach to get it under control before it got to that point. Must have been going on the entire game?

Wood and company are or will be respected very shortly.

Powell was forced to pitch a group of young men that had trouble finding the strike zone. Probably wasn't 10 earned runs in the entire game for both sides. Miserable cold and nasty. Powell is better than the score showed but take nothing from MC. They took what was given to them and took advantage of it.

They will be extremely solid this year. Berryman,Christopher,Freeman, and Sewell give them as good of pitching staff as there is in the 14th. As always Coach Wood will have them ready and they will contend for the 14th this year. I heard Sewell may have hurt his shoulder? Any truth to that?

Shuler/Drake at Lee. Couch and whoever at PCC.

I was told that Al was still the coach at PCC and would be for as long as he likes. The AD job isn't going to be used next year because of budget woes. He has been offered the job at Hazard but don't know if his spouse can get the equivalent job she has in the Perry system at Hazard???

Who said the booster had to have a kid involved. Most programs in our area the most influential boosters don't even have kids in the programs. Without financial support of local boosters good programs are never great,average programs are never good, and bad programs always fail. As for a former player that is selected by the School Board, how could that hurt? Different perspective and less politics than with the Principal, Superintendent, Site Base or Parent.
