Switch Cox and Stepp and add Crawford for Bailey and I concur. I would rather have Cox as a shooter.

Wolfe will always find a way to win if they are given the oppertunity. Poor shooting may have been good defense. Sounds like the score tells me that Coach Creech may have slowed the game down a bit to limit Lee's possessions and to equal the playing field a bit.

Not trying to insinuate anything. Just a twist of irony in Breathitt Co. Didn't like Baker,fell out of love with Hall and wonder how long the relationship with Banks will last. If I am insinuating anything it is the fact that if you are going to build a "program" then it takes time and consistency. Al Holland at PCC comes to mind. I know they are one of the largest schools in the 14th but they just reload and they have a program that competes year end and year out regardless of the talent level. If anyone is it fault it would be administration for not attempting to keep some continuity in their program. We have lived that in the community I live in and it is not easy to overcome every single year with new coaches and styles.

Wow. What about Breathitt and their wonderful start. Last years team finished very dismal with Coach Hall and now they are truly a regional contender with basically the same kids. Jackson City goes from high atop the mountain to below the middle of the pack? What's up?

Saw the Smith kid 3 times last year and he was very effective. However, he is one of those intimidating pitchers that after you have seen him once or twice is not as effective. I like Middlesboro.

I have said for years that until you pay these guys and gals what they deserve and rid the officiating ranks of the bottom feeders then we will get some bad officiating. As a rule 75 to 80 percent of high school officials are solid and upstanding. We just can't seem to lure new officials to help with the turnover of older officials leaving the profession. I know in the 14th we have a core group of solid experienced officials but they are slowing down and we don't have the new guys to take their spot. The new ones we are getting are the ones presenting the problems. I say pay them more and demand more for it. The older guys done it for the love of the game and not just the money but times are a changin'. MO MONEY.

Not to mention they are in great shape which may be a key factor with a lot of teams in the 14th that are not 8-10 players deep.

Powell would most certainly be considered one of the best dark horses in the 14th.

I like mason in an 8-10 point game. Bench will be the deciding factor for Mason.

Been ther and don't think that is even close to possible. It is terrible to have such state of the art facilities for other sports and to leave baseball and softball in the cold. Any LCC fans know of the status???
